Brita Elite Water Faucet Filtration Mount System, Fits Standard Faucets, White, Includes 2 Filters, Size: 100 Gal

We bought the chrome faucet filter. Used for almost a year and it started leaking on the outside of the nut that tightens the unit to the faucet. Unusable. Purchased another unit the same and used it a short time ( out of warranty). Flimsy switch lever broke off. Unusable. Purchased PUR faucet unit. Exponentially better quality and durability.Purchased a Brita filter pitcher. Used it for a little over a year. Handle cracked at the point of attachment to the pitcher. Purchased second new Brita replacement filter pitcher with filter aging lights in the lid. Never worked. Rubber lid button fell out. Called Brita. Out of warranty. Sent me $10. Brita coupon. Still have same defective pitcher. When it fails , which brand replacement do you think I'll buy? Not yours.

This filter has literally helped the quality of my life when I'm inside of my home so much I am so grateful for this brand. I have hard water and limestone build up and other different types of materials in my water and it really makes a difference in the quality of being able to use my water out of the faucet when I need to. I don't have to worry about fragments in my water when I use that or when I make something to eat when I need to make something to drink that calls for water. it by far saves me so much money not having to buy pre-bottled water at the store. I live in the country so it also saves me gas so I don't need to go to town to buy water. It used to smell weird aswell due to the limestone and I also have a system with this brand that helps filter the water in my shower as well as the pipes to my washer. water quality before and after installation of this unit. It has the same water quality nothing has changed. Water quality determined by the numbers read from water from 0-300. 0 for being the best water quality. Tested on bottled water, it's a number of 3, tested on my water dispenser from Primo water. It's a number of 50. Tested on Brita filter number is 150, without Brita filter it's 150 everywhere around my house and yes, I installed it correctly and followed all instructions. Also, it's flashing green light while water is being dispensed from faucet and I even let it run 10 minutes before I tested the water qaulity. Save you guys some money and don't even bother buying this.

I've been using this filter system for 20 years.It's very effective at removing particles and chlorine. It's compact and easy to install. I also like the 2 settings for the unfiltered water flow, stream and spray. Overall, Great Filter System.

Do not buy

The quality and cost has gotten worse over the years. Now a complete system barely lasts 6 months if you’re lucky and the filters last less than half of the advertised time. Constantly having to replace the entire thing. Customer service gives you some troubleshooting options but they don’t work. I’d recommend finding another brand or method to filter water, it seems like Brita is just interested in getting you to waste as much of your money as possible.

Dont waste your money it won't last a year@

This was the second Brita faucet filter system ive owned and they dont last a year before the indicator light stops working. i purchased this one in December 2022 and its now September and it just stops working. Not worth the 42 dollars i paid for this system not to mention the 4 replacement filters i purchases more recently and now i wont know when they need replaced so I'll be a guessing game until i use up the replacement filters then ill go with a PUR system. Very disappointed I wasted my money twice, thought the first was a fluke but now I know they are junk.

Filter indicator light stopped working

I really like the Brita filters I have tried the pur but I like the water better that after going through the bread of filter I bought this particular attachment with the light indicator I bought it February the 6th and a little over a month the indicator light stopped working. I'm going to take it back to Walmart and exchange it, hopefully a new one will be okay and I just got a dud.

Mostly good, some defects get through.

I've bought a couple filter faucet attachments before %26 they all worked however this most recent purchase did not function so I kept the previous dead attachment I was replacing %26 just replaced the filter cartridge on it. I was disappointed but I'm hoping that was a one time thing %26 will try another replacement attachment.

No more water bottles!

The water tastes so much better. Even our dog gulps it up. He needs the chlorine filtered out to help his eyes not get goopy. Feels good to not waste water bottles and gives me extra room in the fridge. I like the spray feature, as well. And, of course, the option to filter it or not. Helps conserve the filter. I grew drinking water from a Brita pitcher, and now I have the filter at the faucet. You cant go wrong with this purchase.

This one doesn't Stink!

From the day I installed this on the kitchen sink I swore I'd never go without one again. Where we live the water comes from a well and is treated with chlorine a little to much for our taste. But with this filter system you can't ever smell any chlorine at all. For some reason the electronic filter light quit working but it is so efficient I can't justify it loosing any stars.
