Like the transparent plastic design-looks very clean. Stopped limescale building up in my kettle. Very quickly removes the taste of chlorine from tap water (although an hour in a normal jug within the fridge has the same effect). Also feel there is a slight improvement in the taste of teas, although I take tea strong with milk so didn't expect a massive difference.

The Aluna was the only Brita jug available in my local John Lewis on the day that I broke my old jug and I chose not to wait until they had more in stock. The Aluna jug filters the water just as well as my previous jug, but having to remove the entire lid in order to fill the jug is not ideal (the old one had a flap in the lid). I also seem to be filling it up more frequently so I think the resevoir might be a bit smaller too. It is still 100% better than drinking unfiltered water though.

I am very glad I purchased the Britta Jug and filters, works superbly for me, my tap water doesn’t taste like it has come from the local swimming pool any more. I mainly use for my drinking water, I decant it into bottles then put those in the fridge. I think a family would be more suited to the large one that sits in those big American style fridges as you would have fresh, cold filtered water on tap. It has more than paid for itself with the expensive bottled water I no longer buy, good job Britta.
I have bought this a month and a half ago as the water tastes much better than our tap water. Only issue I have is the gap between the filter befor it enters the jug. Water accumulates in the gap so you have stale water there. In order to get rid of it, when you remove the finished cartridge, then you have to discard that water. Over time the jug does not fit back properly back after reassembly.I’m sure I am not the only one who has noticed this

The whole lid has to be removed and does not fit back easily, I have to thump it quite hard to get it to fit tightly. When removing the lid the internal unit lifts out as well. I bought this last year 2/06/2023 and the jug cracked after 6 Months / I didn't remember my warranty until l relented and bought a new jug on 15/03/2024 which prompted me to claim a replacement under warranty so that I had two jugs, I have contacted Brita 3 times and while I sometimes get an automated reply saying the are dealing with my claim and later complaint and advised to wait 15t days for a resonse.
