I needed a filtered water bottle at the last minute for a trip to Costa Rica and this drew me in at Target. It was a bit pricey, but it worked so well, was easy to clean, and kept my water so cold. Plus, the added filter helped make me feel more comfortable with the water I was drinking. Packed in the outside pocket of my backpack and lugged around for a week, the finish is still perfect. Plus, as it is double-walled, there was no condensation accumulation on the outside to mess with my stickers. Totally recommend.

This water bottle seemed like a great investment. It’s stainless steel and should last forever, right? Not quite. The lid is plastic and, after moderate use for a couple years, it broke, rendering the water bottle useless.I have purchased a bunch of replacement filters so have no choice but to spend another $30 to buy a new water bottle.Brita’s customer service was less than helpful. I asked whether I could get a replacement lid (that’s all I need), which seemed reasonable (I’d even pay for it!), but nope. For some reason they don’t do this? Makes no sense. So, go ahead and spend $30 on the water bottle. Just no it will likely break after a while and is not sustainable, which is the whole reason I purchased it in the first place.

This is a good product. There are a few improvement that, imo, could be better. BUT...I have not been able to drink a lot of water, ok I hated the taste of it, so I never drank it. Since I received my bottle I don't drink anything else. I was a very hard soda and tea drinker. Like 2 two liters of diet Pepsi a day or 4 or 5 bottles of iced tea. Got a tea while driving the other day and as soon as I came home I went back to my water bottle. The suggestion I would make is to dump the straw and make a filter that fits inside the lid. It would make drinking so much easier. The straw is hard to use if you don't have a half full bottle and if you don't have access to refill it then you have to open and drink out of the actual bottle and you don't get filtered water that way.

When I first decided to drink less water in single use plastic bottles, primarily for environmental reasons, I noticed a problem. The tap water I was putting directly into a regular reusable bottle was making me sick. The tap water by itself will make my throat sore and just overall makes me feel off, likely as a result of the many chemicals added to our water. As a result, I decided to find another solution. Then someone online pointed me to the Brita bottles. I ended up buying one and immediately could tell a difference. The water tastes better and I do not have the same issues with this bottle that I had drinking it directly from the tap. The investment to buy one of these is somewhat high, but if you actually use it, it can save you a lot of money over buying ... MoreWhen I first decided to drink less water in single use plastic bottles, primarily for environmental reasons, I noticed a problem. The water tastes better and I do not have the same issues with this bottle that I had drinking it directly from the tap. The investment to buy one of these is somewhat high, but if you actually use it, it can save you a lot of money over buying bottled water rather quickly. I have been using mine for about 3 months now and it has held up very well despite constantly dropping it onto concrete. There are a few dents and scratches, but nothing you can obviously tell from a distance and doesn't affect the usability of the bottle. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to cut bottled water out of their life and has poor tap water quality.
This has been my go to bottle for about a year now. I feel like I'm missing something if I leave the house without it! I'm a bit picky about how I like my water- I generally prefer very cold filtered water. Because of this, I found myself drinking from a lot of single use plastic bottles in the past. This bottle has practically eliminated my need for them though! It does an amazing job at keeping drinks cold all day (I'll come home from work with ice still in the bottle) and the filter allows me to refill it from anywhere! I originally bought it hoping it would help me increase my water intake (since I'd be able to refill it and have filtered water wherever I go) and it's done all of that for me and more! I literally tell anyone who will listen to me about this ... MoreThis has been my go to bottle for about a year now. I feel like I'm missing something if I leave the house without it! I originally bought it hoping it would help me increase my water intake (since I'd be able to refill it and have filtered water wherever I go) and it's done all of that for me and more! I literally tell anyone who will listen to me about this bottle because it's truly the best bottle I've ever owned, hands down. I will say it does have a couple of things that could be better- as I've seen a lot of others say, the mouthpiece does tend to get moldy sometimes. I don't have much of an issue cleaning it, it's just not the nicest thing to look at. The bottle has also gathered a fair deal of dents and scratches, but I think that one is mainly on me as I bring it to work with me. The capacity is also a bit small if you like more ice in your bottle, mainly due to the straw having to house the filter. Overall these are very small gripes and I'm beyond satisfied with my bottle!
I've had the brita water bottle for a little over a year, and I am nothing less of obsessed! I've tried around 8 different stainless steel water bottles, but i always go back to this one! It gets harder to drink out of when the filter needs to be replaced, which i actually appreciate. The rubber mouthpiece does get funky, but I have been able to find replacements online for an affordable price. Overall, I can't live without this. Not only do I drink so much more water than before, but I haven't had to buy water bottles in over a year.
I bought my bottle about a year ago. I had 2 choices, plastic or double insulated aluminum. I chose the double insulated. I have not had any issues with mine. I have never had a problem with mold growing in the rubber straw, even after I took the filter out and put tea in it, then forgot about it for a bit. Still no mold in straw. I washed it out very well and it has been great. I love my water bottle.
Okay, so first of all let me say that I absolutely LOVE my Brita water bottle. I was lucky and found mine at a local surplus store so it was only $9. I had no idea how incredible this water bottle was but I'm super happy I got it.I have always been very, very weird about what I drink from. With this water bottle, there's no weird taste and I know that nothing is getting into my water. Yes, it keeps my water cold which is a giant plus.Downside is that the rubber mouthpiece is very hard to clean properly and so, both mine and my sister's water bottles ended up growing black mold. My sister just tossed her bottle but I managed to get rid of it by using a toothbrush to scrub at the inside, letting it sit in boiling water for about three minutes, and then using ... MoreOkay, so first of all let me say that I absolutely LOVE my Brita water bottle. I really like the water bottle! I’m a college student so this is nice to have just to fill up anywhere and don’t need to rely on my roommate to fill the brita filter. One thing I will say though is that the spout develops black stuff on the inside?? I hope it isn’t mold (I’m sure it is), but it’s not nice to have to clean it out every month. I never had these types of water bottles so I’m not sure if that’s normal. Either way, not fun, but the bottle overall keeps well!
I read the reviews before buying, I was surprised by all the 5 stars and did not notice all the one and two stars. So I proceeded to order the water bottle, I was very disappointed. It arrived today, the bottle was missing pieces I specifically ordered. I tried the water bottle out, it was working until the top broke off. I tried it back together but it would not stay. Then I read the reviews and realized this water bottle is a 50/50 risk when buying. My personal opinion is to not buy, that is just me.
