Brita Water Filter for Sink, Faucet Mount Water Filtration System for Tap Water, Reduces 99% of Lead, Chrome

I have been using the Brita filter faucet for the past two months, and it has made a notable difference in my water quality. While I have found the water flow to be somewhat slow, the taste is remarkable, resembling that of bottled water. This filter provides peace of mind, ensuring that I have access to clean, refreshing drinking water straight from the tap. Despite the slower flow rate, the flavor enhancement makes it a worthwhile addition to my kitchen. I am pleased with the performance of the Brita filter faucet and the improved taste of my water.

Broke before able to use properly

This product broke before we were able to use properly. The filter pooped off and hit me in the head. It also burned my face because I was using hot water. We went through the proper instructions and everything before hand. I tried another filter and the same thing happened only this time it cracked and now sprays out the sides. We have been using a broken sink filter for a few months because we don’t have the finances to purchase new one at the moment.

Disappointed

I bought two of these in a span of ONE year. The second one a couple months ago. It worked okay in the beginning but not so much now. The first one was a complete mess and i figured maybe i messed it up by not installing it properly. My fault, so i bought a second one to replace it. But nope this doesn't do it either. Water comes out of both settings and the entire thing is leaking. Also the indicator light stopped working even when you change the filter it just doesn't come on. I have little kids and i need easy access to water that doesn't taste like chlorine. I wish it had warranty but unfortunately not. I would say if you are okay with purchasing this and needing to repurchase within a year than go for it but if you need something more durable....i guess this ... MoreI bought two of these in a span of ONE year. Great kitchen faucet filter!

Drastically improves the overall quality of my tap water!I’ve used this filter for three years. My last one finally messed up and I had to replace it. However, it is important to note that the threads messed up from taking it on and off at least once a week - to clean my aquariums. Most households would not need to remove the device this often and I am certain it would hold up much longer than mine did.Filter is:Easy to install and remove. Helps filter my tap water into drinkable water.Price is good for the amount of filtering you get.Can purchase filters in bulk.Super easy to remove and replace old filters.I definitely recommend getting one for yourself if you’re looking for something to filter your tap water!

Need better inspection process on returned items

This was a replacement for an existing Brita filter of the same model after years of use.The first shipment was clearly a previous return and was damaged. Someone had apparently used pliers in an attempt to install it and damaged the installation ring, which is designed for hand-tightening, and also ripped the rubber gasket below the ring. The prior customer had clearly opened the box and was also damaged. I requested a return, and Walmart promptly sent me a replacement. The replacement arrived, and I immediately noticed that this box was previously opened as well as the box was mangled at each end. Once I opened the box, I noticed that the contents included a WHITE filter set instead of the chrome that I originally ordered. Walmart customer service advised me to keep both sets and discard them instead of shipping them back.I was very disappointed that Walmart did not inspect the previous returns, but instead, it appears as though they just placed it on their shelves to ship to the next customer. A better inspection process on returns would have probably avoided these issues.I finally replaced the unit by purchasing it directly from Brita.

No LED light filter indicator, but possibly better

I was disappointed at first when I installed it and quickly realized that the filter indicator is not an LED light like the previous white models I had bought from Amazon. I called Brita to try to get a replacement for the previous white model because the filter light had stopped working when I turned the filtered water on. However as I spoke to them regarding the second one that had had an issue with the light, I realized that the filter indicator might be more reliable on this chrome version which somehow keeps track on how much the filter has been used and will indicate when it has 2 weeks left by changing from the full green to half red, half green and then to red to indicate that it needs to be replaced. So I am thinking that at least the light can’t start acting wonky because there is no light. This second one was purchased on Feb 23, 2022 and broke tonight on December 17, 2022, after less than a year. Initially, the knob turned easily then gradually became much harder to turn. The system was never exposed to any harsh cleaning agents that could have weakened the plastic. I hesitate to purchase a third filtration system but I have a box of brand new filters and want filtered water every day. When this filtration system works, it's great. It does produce very clean tasting water without bulky pitchers. The chrome finish matches many kitchen faucets too. We love it

Been using this system for over 3 years now and in multiple homes. This is the second one I've bought after the first one started leaking from both sides when either side was turned on. It didn't start happening until our maintenance man removed it from our sink and installed a whole new faucet so not sure if it was broken somehow in that process or if a piece was lost. Overall, it's been really great over these years and the water tastes clean! I hate all the waste build up from plastic bottles so this is a great alternative. Make sure you have a solid install and you'll be good. Definitely recommend!

Works but doesn't' include an Aerator

The faucet on my kitchen sink uses an external aerator that has to be removed to install the filter system. I was surprised to find that this water filter does not have a built-in aerator. Also there is an issue with the flow of water when set to bypass. The stream of water breaks into multiple segments as it exits through the grate at the output. If I rub my finger across the bottom of the grate the stream consolidates. This could be due to the low water pressure available in my house. The water pressure is an ongoing issue that has plagued me since I purchased this "Manufactured House" a few years ago. The local water company hasn't been much help. They say the pressure a the meter meets the towns requirements so the issue is mine to deal with.

a huge annoyance

The filter water is pretty good, you need to change the filter an okay amount depending how much water you are filtering through it. But honestly the quality sucks. its been a year, the filters have been popped off by to much water pressure going in. The filters would sometimes be as secure as we can make it and water will spray out the side wetting you or your counters. If you have a low sink spout its hard to mevuvar around to wash dishes especially pots and pans. The drinking water pressure comes out very strong no matter how low you turn on the sink. The knob on the device gets tighter to turn switching between functions. An to top off all the trouble it has decided to have the turn knob break off in just under a year.
