Brixton - Joanna Honey Straw Hat - XS

This hat is stunning! It fits beautifully and for someone like me with a very small head it’s very exciting. I always struggle to find a hat that fits me properly. It not only looks pretty and stylish but has the sun protection as well. 10/10.

This is my favorite hat. So when I lost my original one I was heartbroken. When I logged into Brixton and saw it was still available I ordered it again. I've received so many compliments on this hat. I wish it was available in an autumn or winter version.

Adjustable Hat

I was so excited when a petite blogger with small head woes linked this beautiful hat which adjusts to fit smaller heads. It seemed like the perfect sun hat because of the wide brim. Unfortunately, it did not look like it did on the adorable blogger. It took on more of a Farmer Jones on me (no offense to Farmer Jones). That just wasn’t the look I was going for. I can highly recommend this because it is a beautiful, well made, adjustable hat that looks lovely on some one else. Thank you, Nordstrom for offering hats for small heads. As always, 5 stars for the Nordstrom shopping experience.

Awesome Sun Hat

I initially looked at some pricier sun hats and this was under the Nordstrom recommends tab. So happy I took a look and decided to purchase. First you can't go wrong with this price point and the quality surpassed my expectations. The brim is not floppy (which I don't like so much) and wide enough to protect my face from the sun. As a personal preference I like the straw color which is a perfect golden, not too taupe and not too beige.The black ribbon trim is the perfect addition. Good quality, fits as expected

Bought my usual size for Brixton hats (XS) and it fit as expected. It fits snuggly with just a tiny bit of room for adjustment if I want to make it a bit more snug. Hat and straw feels higher quality than other straw hats I've purchased at fast fashion retail shops. Brim is a bit wider than I would prefer but it will be perfect for summer and the beach.

Perfect Summer Hat - My Fave

Love this hat. Its brim is just okay and not that big but gives you the right cover from the sun. Brought it to Cancun and since it’s windy and breezy, I was able to adjust it so as not get swept by the wind. It goes with all my outfit. A must have! You won’t regret it.

Sizing is tricky but Hat is great

It took me awhile to sort out this hat, so I took off one star for that. Otherwise, I love how it looks and see why all the influencers rave about it. It’s not too big floppy and beachy looking—it’s perfect to wear around town! My head measurements put me at size medium, but the medium was too big. I returned that for a small, which fit great, but the small I received had some frayed straw pieces in the front that I wasn’t happy with. I sent that back and got another small, and it was perfect, and I love it. I recommend buying in store so you can try it on and look over the hat for any fraying straw pieces first. That said, shipping was fast, well packaged, and Nordstrom as always has an A+++ for easy returns, so I’m glad it worked out. I got the beige and black. The Perfect Hat For Me

Highly satisfied. Looked at hats that were triple the price but the quality of the Brixton hat was the best that I had seen. I tried on many hats. I need the XS size and when I did find it, I still needed to adjust it. Their hats did not adjust but Brixton does. A perfect fit. I love my hat.

best summer hat

I usually do not write reviews, but I stopped and had to share! I love straw hats but usuually they do not hold up or become unflatteringly "floppy"! This hat is the best! It holds it's shape and is adjustable. I read all the reviews and looked at all of the photos, it looked great on EVERYONE! This hat has been my "go to" hat on the daily! This will elevate your outfit and will look stunning at the pool! My head measured 22" I bought the small.

weird sizing

overall, really cute hat — but other reviewers are right, there is a big difference between small and medium, AND, if you have a larger head that doesnt usually fit hats, this is the one for you!i bought small and medium because i have a medium in another brixton hat but just wanted to be safe. i also measured my head and it was the exact medium circumference! wow, the medium came down over my eyes! if you have very puffy thick hair this might be better for you.i kept the small, which was actually a little snug (seriously big difference between sizes!) because it might stretch out a little, being straw, and i dont mind that it wont blow away on the beach now. the brim is very wide and will definitely catch the wind!
