Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 Mens 9.5 / Black/White

This is my first pair of shoes from Brooks. I actually purchased two pairs using the military discounted rate which I thought was fantastic and much appreciated. The only negative thing was that I had to pay for shipping since I received the military discount. As far as the shoes go, I actually love them. They are some of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. They also came in various widths which I fell really helped with comfort. I also really like the variety of colors as I was able to pick two different colors that really suite my taste. Over all I am extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend these for other people looking for comfort.

My last 4 pairs of daily trainers have been Adrenalines. I can't say I like running in them quite as much as my Endorphin Speeds, but they Adrenalines give me what I feel to be a truer estimation of my physical ability. The Speeds feel like cheating a little bit. I've always been able to put on the Adrenalines and not have to think about where my route is going or if I'll be able to get up to the pace I want. You don't buy an Adrenaline for a 5-minute mile. You buy them to go 500 miles on whatever surface you want. They have always been a great shoe for my tranquility and enjoyment when running.So far, the 24 hasn't taken any of that away. I've always liked this. Despite being a stability shoe which have a reputation for feeling clunky, I've felt that my feet have always bounced off the pavement due to the firmness of the foam.- Adrenalines have always allowed me to feel the ground very well. The stack has been raised and it feels though the platform might be narrower, both of which contribute to some disconnect from the ground. This is the only real disappointment.- Very little (if any) rock through this shoe. Encourages me to land on the mid- to forefoot. Not a bad thing.- Tough rubber gives me permission to run on any surface I come across.- The upper and the laces both have some stretch. I can occasionally experience some discomfort across the top of my foot when I lock it down, but these were very comfortable.I have it rated 4 stars out of the box, hoping that as I break them in over a few more miles, the midsole loosens up some, the foam compresses slightly, and the ground and I really become one.

24s - Great Option for 4E People, Softer Than the 23s

I need 4E, so there are few shoes I can buy. Luckily Brooks Adrenaline work. I wish more colors were available in 4E - we get to choose from just 2-3 color options each year it seems. The new 24 is softer than the 23s. For me the 23s were virtually perfect shoes, rare ones that didn’t hurt any of the usual places (achilles or toes or plantar). Ran a 5K in the 23s, first one in 20 years, and zero issues.The 24s are a bit softer in the cushioning. I like that, but seems maybe a bit less sturdy under the cushioning, ie the toe area seems to cave in more already, outside of the specific extra cushion pad spots. So if they keep this new softer cushion but also keep the 23s underlying better firmness, it would be better.The 24s also grab my achilles a bit, which the ... MoreI need 4E, so there are few shoes I can buy. Adrenaline GTS has been my go-to for years. The 24's continue to uphold the traits of its predecessors... total comfort (like running on clouds), stability, and style. This said, there is one thing that initially out of the box felt different: the brooks logo/swoosh (on exterior sidewall) is made with a thicker plastic, making it feel stiff from previous versions. I'm still breaking in the shoe and over time it appears it will become more flexible. There are other changes that were made but they feel like upgrades at this point of ownership (specifically the sole and tread). They have performed nicely on the rolling hill trails in Sonoma and have me bouncing along paved routes in Michigan. I’m honestly amazed by these shoes. I thought there would be a time where I needed to wear them to get used to them like with other shoes (wear them in). I put these on and they fit perfect. They are well made but very lightweight. The colors are a bit flashy but I like them. The comfort level with these shoes are unmatched. I’ve never had a pair of shoes be so comfortable from day 1. I kept thinking as the day went on that my feet would start to hurt and if they did it would be totally normal with a new pair of shoes, but they never did. It was absolute comfort from the time I put them on until I took them off. I was shook and still am. The way they seem to grip the road and sidewalk when I walk is amazing. I received the Adrenaline GTS 24 Running/Workout Shoes. These shoes look and feel fantastic! I felt that my arches were properly supported, which I have struggled with in previous shoes. The shoes also felt as though I was standing a little taller than usual without any sort of noticable heel in them. When I go to put them on, I do not feel as though I need to pull hard to get them to slide on properly, or that I will bend the heel of the shoe back with my heel; another issue I have seen with other shoes. When it comes to the design of the shoes, the bright colors made me feel as though I was more athletic. I felt that they took the time to really consider how it would make you feel as you wore the shoes when they were coming up with the design. I felt confident that my feet would not hurt after wearing them. I did not find anything about the shoes that I would change. I am very happy with them!

Brooks Running has come up with a clear winner with the Adrenaline GTS 24! I have been thoroughly impressed from the moment I first put these shoes on and went for a 7 mile run. Simply put, these shoes are very comfortable and truly guide your body into alignment. I put a lot of miles into a pair of Adrenaline GTS 22 shoes where the support felt a little too firm for my liking and they never felt particularly quick. However, the nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 foam introduced into this latest model absolutely changes the game. These shoes feel light and increasing my pace felt very smooth and easy. The cushioning felt plush and left my legs and feet feeling good throughout my runs. I ran on cement, pavement, hard packed dirt, gravel, grass, and a treadmill. No matter the surface, I never once felt any out-of-plane movement or instability. The Adrenaline GTS 24 shoes felt equally as good at my endurance and fast tempo paces too. I’m a size 10 and these fit me perfectly whether I was on a very hot Las Vegas afternoon run or a cool morning run in Maryland. The laces do a great job of securing my feet and the upper felt very comfortable with no hot spots. I got the Cobalt blue with neo yellow color which fits my style as I enjoy how these shoes pop out. My only very minor wish is that they had maybe one or two other brighter colors available to choose from. Something like that of the Green Gecko of the Brooks Launch 10 would be really cool. Overall, I have really enjoyed running in these shoes and they are a staple to my rotation, especially when my body is tired from previous workouts. I think Brooks Running designed an exceptional support shoe with this last Adrenaline GTS model that folks are really going to enjoy running or walking in.

Overall I think these are a comfortable pair of running shoes. I think that the fit might run just a little large (both in width and in length). For me, I had to cinch them down quite a bit which resulted in a little puckering of the fabric at the front of the tongue to get a snug fit that prevented any slipping of my foot inside the shoe.While I like many aspects of the design, personally I think that the cushion is a little tall and am not a huge fan of the blue waves across the cushion. Overall, I think some design features like that and a padded area on the back of the shoe makes the shoe look clunkier than it feels. Sometimes when putting on a shoe for the first time the toe box is tight on the forefoot and squeezes the toes but not with the Adrenaline GTS 24. The sporty look and lines definitely are an attention grabber which gave me lots of compliments my first time wearing them.When it comes to the mixed use of fabrics, the light weight material allows for flexibility and breathability which makes the longer walk/runs more enjoyable. Changing the fabric around the eyelets to me gives the laces a more durable fabric to hold against and also doesn’t allow the laces to slip as it would if it were designed differently.The DNA Loft Nitrogen Injected sole on the Adrenaline GTS 24 I was very surprised from the moment I put the shoe on. The comfort level exceeded my expectations and they seem to mold and get better for my foot every time I wear them. The arch support that is provided will make it difficult for me to transition to another walking/running shoe. Overall this is a great shoe that I can’t wait to put miles on.

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 men’s running shoe is a stylish and attractive shoe that is also comfortable and versatile. I love the bright blue color with neon yellow accents. They match many of my outfits and aren’t too flashy even though they are bright. I love the breathable fabric which ensures that my feet don’t get too hot, when working out or simply wearing to run errands or play with my kids in the back yard. The soles are flexible and lightweight. I have wider feet and these shoes fit comfortably, not too narrow, which is a problem with other shoes I’ve tried. I am not a long distance runner so I am not sure how they would hold up over time with intensive wear.
