Beast 20 are the only brooks shoes worth buying today, because they are the only shoe they have with an inner lining that will last longer than a year. I recently bought 2 pairs of brooks ghost shoes and the heal wore out in less then a year and I were brooks socks. Look closely when buying brooks shoes, the inner lining at the heal should have a vertical pattern, not no pattern like beast 23 and other brooks shoes. I hope brooks go back to using this in all there shoes, or I'll have to look for another brand of shoe.

The lowest quality shoe I've worn in years. It fell apart in several places and my feet became incredibly sore after using for three months and have now replaced with a superior quality brand.The heels of the shoes started falling down after putting on and off once or twist. I had to use a shoe horn for months to make sure the backs didn't push down when I put my foot in. I can't fathom what kind of thin cardboard they must be made out of.I also nearly skipped badly on wet or slightly mossy surfaces. They are like trying to walk with your feet covered in butter. My podiatrist recommended these?

I purchased a pair of Beast 20s (US13 4E) to wear in rotation with a pair of Ghost 14s. However if I had unlimited cash resources, I'd just buy Ghosts every 6 weeks. Also, it's a shame that 4E shoes are limited to colour. I can understand why as far as production costs go, but us wide-footed, orthotic-wearing folks do miss out on the cool shoes :)
