I walk many jobsites on the daily, I immediately felt a difference the first day. Great support and grip.

*have not worn shoes yet* but originally ordered the oyster/black/purple style and the front was white instead of gray like the online photos showed. I ordered another pair in the primer/ebony/oriole style and the color was true to the online photos. They do seem on the narrow side, but since I have narrow feet I don’t expect an issue.

Used the shoes to backpack part of the appalachian trail. No foot or knee pain with the shoes despite carrying an additional 30 lbs. Traction was good on the terain and no water seeped in when crossing up to 1 inch deep creeks.

Oh man, I really wanted to love these. I’ve been wearing Cascadias for years and have had a love/hate relationship with the different versions. I was really hoping the 17s would feel more like the older Cascadias (the 16’s were way too blocky and clunky for me), but I’m really disappointed in these. I pulled them out of the box and immediately thought they looked like Hokas. The bottoms are super wide and yet they somehow fit oddly narrow in the upper. I have a narrow foot and ankle and the heel pads hit me in a very strange spot. I wear the Cascadias for my burlier trail runs and backpacking and I could barely wear these around the house before I got a hot spot on my heels. I tried two sizes and they both had the same issue. Such a disappointment! Please go back to ... MoreOh man, I really wanted to love these. I’ve been wearing Cascadias for years and have had a love/hate relationship with the different versions. Such a disappointment! Please go back to making a solid all around trail shoe and stick with the designs that have been popular and worked in the past rather than chasing the next fad.
I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that fit well and it's been so nice that I can rely on the Adrenaline narrow sizes. I would love to be able to get a trail runner in a narrow size as well!
I am fairly new to off road trail running and after numerous shoes, founds the Brooks Cascadia 16’s. I loved them and own 4 pair. I was excited about the 17’s but they are much narrower and I just could not get them to fit right on me. They were too tight mid foot and lacing them up almost hurt. I couldn’t imagine doing a 5K in them let along a 25K.

The upper with Cordura Mud Guard has a high breathability and protects against external dirt. The Monoloop mesh material is combined with the 3D Fit Print upper. As a result, the shoes have a high breathability and they also dry faster. This version has a TPU nose cap and mudguard, which provide extra protection and durability at the top. In addition, the lace protector keeps the laces in place. The midsole of the Brooks Cascadia 17 features DNA LOFT v2, making the shoe lighter and more cushioning than its predecessor. 2 mm foam has also been added to the midsole, which provides extra comfort. The midsole has more release grooves which provides improved adaptability on rough terrain. The Ballistic Rock Shield now contains vertical grooves, making it easier for you to move sideways. The outsole of the shoes features the Trail Adapt System, which uses an integrated midsole, rock plate, and outsole system for stability on any terrain. The TrailTrack rubber in the outsole gives you optimal grip on both dry and wet terrain. The drainage ports allow water to escape quickly and Gusset keeps out sand and small debris.
