I’ve been running in Brooks for 10+ years (with a brief hiatus to HOKA). I have been wearing the stealth fit glycerin for 2 months while training for a half marathon. Initially loved how light it was, found the upper interesting and just felt like a responsive neutral shoe. Not even 50 miles of wear on the shoes I started experiencing issues. The foam wore out quickly, the upper/laces couldn’t lock down my foot properly, hot spots, sometimes I felt like there was a rock stuck in the tread only to find nothing there. These are maybe good for walkers/weekend warriors but I would not recommend for serious training (go with the regular glycerins!)

I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis for years now. I’ve tried several brands and each have pros and cons. So far, these are comfortable (with Sole and Superfeet insoles) and don’t cause pain. It’s not cushioned enough for me to run in, but walking and weightlifting are fine.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Brooks Glycerin. They are the only running shoes I’ve worn since 2012. I was pumped to see the lovely neutral color of the stealth fit! I don’t really like the bright colored shoes so these were perfect. I tried on the regular Glycerin and decided to gowith the stealth fit. Wearing them for short periods of time they feel fine. Any amount of long term activity and my feet feel like they’re going to fall off. I wore them for 12 hours at a theme park on Monday and my feet are still hurting two days later. Any other pair of Glycerins I’ve ever had would be able to keep me comfy during theme park days. I definitely have buyer’s remorse with these. Should have just stick with what I know.

Bought for a trip to Portugal. Tried a bunch of different styles, but felt the support in the heel as well as padded heal area would be welcome. I have a wider foot and the front was roomy. I also have wonky ankles and the knit support hit me in the right place. They are a tad snug to put on, but these aren’t designed as a slip on!The cushion on the sole was unbelievable throughout miles of hills and uneven terrain in Portugal. The weather was warm, but my feet weren’t the least bit hot due to the lightweight but sturdy fabric. Best of all, they still look brand new. These will definitely be my daily walkers.
I've been looking for the right running shoes for a while now. The Brooks Glycerin's are exactly what I was hoping for. They have a great amount of cushion and support while the knit top is comfortable feels lightweight on your feet. The shoes are snug so you feel secure when running and the cream / black color options is pretty slick. Highly recommend!
I bought these for my daughter for Penn State's THON coming in February. I asked her to wear them house for a day. She loves them and Brooks beingBrooks....they ARE comfortable, yet supportive. But the test is the THON. She was chosen to be a dancer and has to be on her feet for entire weekend. I should actually buy 2 pair! Thankyou Brooks/DICKS!
These are a great shoe for everything you may want to do in the gym. I am a personal trainer, so I am wearing them pretty much all day. But I also wear them for my own workouts which include strength training, as well as indoor cardio like running, jumping side to side movement. I was a little bit nervous because it’s really important for me to find a good shoe for all of the things that I do. But these are amazing for all of it!And I also love the design. A lot of books do not catch my eye because of the designs but these are very stylish.
I recently purchased the Glycerin StealthFit while searching for a shoe for my new lifestyle change (walking an extra 4 miles a day in addition to standing at work for 8+ hours) and I have to say I am so impressed with how comfortable these are! I can feel a change in my feet and knees. Once I get a good pace going I can't even feel an impact on my feet at all with these. It took me a couple days to "break them in" but so far I can't say enough good things about them. Well worth the purchase.
I really like the shoe. There’s really nothing wrong with them. The only problem that I have is that the support on the inside isn’t enough to counter my flat feet so my feet tilt inward and it hurts the outside of my feet. I’m guessing that’s mostly a me problem though.
I spent $170 on these after taxes and I had to take them off and walk barefoot home trying to do an easy 4 mile run. The first day I wore them they were uncomfortable but I thought maybe I need to break them in. The next day was terrible. I ordered a size up like normal since I know feet swell when running. These are a nightmare. Now I’m stuck with shoes I cannot wear.
