The traction on various surfaces was reliable, instilling confidence in my every step.Any running shoe's durability is important, and these ones did not let me down. Initially, I was skeptical since the soles' rubber didn't seem extremely thick or aggressive, but they've held up surprisingly well. After several weeks of rigorous running I’ve only noticed minimal signs of wear or tear. Additionally, the cloth may be easily cleaned with soap and water.These sneakers are great, but there are a few things to be aware of. I would rather have a broader toe box even though the sneakers don't seem too tight. These aren't the kind of shoes you should get if you want a versatile training shoe. I wouldn't lift a lot of weight in them, but they're fantastic for runs and some functional strength training.In conclusion, I love the Brooks Glycerin Stealthfit 21 for long training runs and long days at work. Regardless of your level of experience, I wholeheartedly suggest checking out these sneakers. I’ve tried many different running shoes and these are by far some of the most comfortable with excellent performance. They do their job well and conform to my feet in a way that I notice zero discomfort (even new right out of the box!).There is a tremendous amount of cushion around the Achilles tendon area and a no-tongue (slip on style) upper section that fits your foot like a compression sock (but with plenty flexibility and stretch). If you need them tighter, the laces will also do the trick! I love that I can slip my shoes on easily and go right into a walk or run with zero movement inside the shoe. They fit my size 13 foot as expected. Not too wide and not too narrow.The colorway is highly desired, in my opinion. Being able to purchase black soled shoes, without having to purchase a shoe that is entirely black is hard to find! The black sole and white upper looks very sharp! Because the soles are black, they do not age and look worn nearly as fast as the endless amount of white soled shoes I’ve owned.Lastly, the tread on the bottom of the shoe is perfect for indoor/dry outdoor, track/gym and concrete/asphalt scenarios. I would not recommend these for wet, grassy, slippery, muddy or snow/ice scenarios. The tread grooves are grippy and crisp but not very deep. The upper shoe material is very breathable, but does not keep moistureout.Please purchase with extreme confidence!

The other issue that I think it might be due to the defect possibly only on my pair is that after I cover some distance I start to feel discomfort on the inner part of my left toe and down to the middle of my foot almost as if there’s a edge that my foot is rubbing against it. I also noticed that my toes are not really sitting completely on the sole but off of it as if the sole is too narrow for the toe box, not sure if that is part of the design. So far I have about 50 miles on this shoes and I can can see sole wearing I am not sure if this shoe can go 200miles I feel like for what it’s advertised that it should be in range of 400+ miles. Hopefully Brooks would read this review and help me find the right shoe
When I slipped into the shoes, I hesitated about whether I'd like them because the upper part had a stretchy feel, and I was concerned it might be too tight. However, I was pleasantly surprised as the shoe easily slid on, offering immediate comfort and remarkable durability, especially in the heel area. It provided an unprecedented level of heel support that boosted my confidence during runs. The overall feel inside the shoe was fantastic, and the breathable fabric added to the positive experience.Despite the initial worry about the elasticity of the top, it didn't exert excessive pressure, and the shoe embraced my foot, providing excellent support. After a 3-mile run and a 2-hour Pickleball session, followed by a 5-mile run and a gym session the next day, my foot never felt hot. This is significant for me, as I usually avoid wearing running shoes for extended periods due to overheating. The light and breathable material of these shoes make them suitable for prolonged wear.I genuinely love these shoes. Despite owning other running shoes, these stand out as superior. I might reserve them for races and use another pair for training, given their durability and lightness. This way, I can make the most of their competitive edge without wearing them out quickly.One essential point to note about this footwear is its suitability primarily for running and not necessarily for other sports. This is attributed to its elevated height from the ground, which provides excellent performance for running but may result in decreased stability when engaging in multi directional movements like those in tennis or basketball.
I know Brooks likes the glycerin to be one of their comfier shoes, so I was anticipating more foam in their outsole than what I am used to on some of their other models. I was surprised that my gate and stride were not affected at all by how “ chunky” the shoe initially looks and feels. While in mid range jog and I am heel striking, the glycerin naturally has me roll through the anterior of my foot and off of the big toe. While at a higher speed/clip and I am landing on the ball of my foot, it still has me finishing through the big toe. I have not done sprints yet to see how the shoe performs. It definitely is in my rotation for training now on longer, slower training runs. Upper is incredibly lightweight & very quick to put on and lace up due to the lace design. I have narrow ankles, so I really need to cinch in the laces, but this will be really nice for winter training. If I ever wear thicker socks, there is plenty of room to accommodate a second sock or a thicker layer. Clean up should be very easy due to the material being very high-quality on both the upper and lower. Classic Brooks insole is incredibly comfortable while still maintaining light weight. The shoe looks and feels wide initially, but after five minutes of walking or running in them, I became very used to the product.

When I picked up the box when I received them, I thought it might be empty. Even though they are light, they are high on comfort and features and can be worn while training or just every day to the office.I have primarily used these shoes inside on the treadmill since it is winter here and have put roughly 80 miles on them over the last few weeks. I cannot wait to wear these outside in the spring and summer when the temps exceed 100 degrees.I really like the chunkier, modern design on of the sole. I have worn these on casual office days and received several compliments. These are shoes I plan to wear if I'm going to be on my feet all day, even if I'm not running. They are that comfortable. I'd absolutely recommend these to anyone from the casual runner to the diehards.
