As far as carbon fiber plating shoes go- this is a very middle of the road option. If you really want the spring of a vaporfly or endorphin pro, these aren’t quite at that level. With that being said, they are still very light, very comfortable, fit will, and still offer a decent amount of bounce. If you’re looking for a training shoe, these are perfect! If you want to set records, these might not be for you.

I received these shoes from Brooks on April 15. Next day I wore them to the Boston Marathon Expo and run with them the Boston Marathon on April 18. What a great shoes with the new update. I was able to complete the race at a steady pace very comfortable without any problems. These are the only carbon plate shoes that provide a decent support and stability and good cushioning. I was using before the NB Fuel Cell Elite 2(amazing cushioning) but because of the lack of support I had Achilles and calf problems. I tried also the Asics Sky Metaspeed sky(Good cushioning) but these are worst than the NB concerning support. The Nike Alphafly Next% provide some good cushioning but little support. If you have the perfect mechanics, all these shoes can work for you.

These fit like a glove! I have had so many Brooks shoes over the decades and my favorite was the epiphany and these are now top! They felt very unstable for a minute but once I adjusted my stance they feel and remain amazing! I would not like them for trail running but for sure walking and running otherwise the feel is exceptional! I also really appreciate the way this shoe seems to wrap around my foot and wear only thin socks because the glove feeling is just right.

I purchased this shoes for racing and was able to reduce my time by 10 minutes in running a half marathon. Less cushion than my Hoka running shoes but definitely better for racing. I will still practice in my Hoka shoes. My feet are wide so I had to purchase a longer shoe. The longer shoes works just fine. Today , I set my PB time in the half marathon @ 1:49:55
These are a significant improvement from the Hyperion Elite 2 and the upper and fit are fantastic. I haven't run in carbon shoes from other brands, so I wouldn't know how they compare to the Next#%, for instance, but my expectation would be for the Elite 3's to last longer than those typically do based on runners' reviews. All that means to me is that I won't have to save them just for race days because I honestly enjoyed the speed and faster recovery from these shoes. If you are in the market for super shoes I can't imagine you would be disappointed in these.
Pros: lightweight, firm fit like the Tempo, durable, slimmer toe box than the Elite 2 .Cons: stiff feeling at the start of a run but loosens quickly. Additional miles of use may resolve this. Advantages of shoe outweigh this issue. I like the look, the overall feel, and the durability if only used on race days.
I have never run in a super shoe before so I was nervous about getting these and dropping the money, but so far it is so worth it! I’ve only done a couple runs in them so far and the rocker took a little bit to get used to, but otherwise I loved them! They’re so light and make me feel so speedy! Also very comfortable. Hope to hit some big new PRs with these bad boys!
This shoe has exceeded my expectations. It didn’t take me long to adapt to the fit and how it feels. I had some concerns about cornering but there are no issues. The best thing about them is the faster you go, the more comfortable they get. I did a very hard 20 miler and beat my expected pace by 15 sec/mile. My legs felt fresher than usual and recovered in a week. Highly recommended for current Brooks runners.

It was rubbing again my left leg and gave me a cut.If they Brooks made this sneaker lighter, but kept everything else the same, I would buy again.
I owned the Hyperion 2 and loved it so much I had to buy it again. Found out there was a 3 and got it. I am not a competitive runner but having lightweight shoes that are supportive can never be a bad idea. The last thing you ever want to worry about are your feet. You wouldn’t want to worry about the tires of your car and that’s how I see it. Your feet put in so much work day in, day out, you got to pamper them. These are the ultimate splurge and worth their $$$ in gold. I didn’t think twice once I needed a new pair of shoes.
