Brooks Hyperion Men's Oyster MUSHROOM/BLACK Iris

These are hands down the best road running shoes I've tried in YEARS. They peppy, responsive, and absolutely act like super shoes for me (without having a carbon plate). They harken back to half/full marathon racers circa 2014ish and I am HERE FOR IT. Absolutely my favorite type of shoe and hard to find these days. I'm certain I will break some PRs in these shoes. Thank you for making these and please never change them!! In terms of sizing, they are TTS in terms of my typical running shoe size. I have a bit of a wider midfoot and these accommodate it nicely. They feel very secure but not too tight.

An amazing lightweight bright running shoe!

The Womens Hyperion GTS is a great shoe. It is very versatile as you can wear them for a workout or just out walking around for the day. The shoes are very comfortable to wear all day. The first thing I noticed about these shoes is their bright color. The pink glo is so bright and cheerful it makes me want to wear the shoe every day!! The bright pink with accents of bright green and black really pop and make people take notice of my shoes. I have received many compliments. The superiority of this shoe doesn't end with its visual appeal! This is the lightest running shoe I have ever owned. Once I put the shoe on, I hardly notice it's on because it is so light weight. Comfortable and stylish for

I needed a new shoe as I'm getting back into a regular running practice and these have been a great fit for me. The upper has a glove-like fit that hugs my feet nicely, creating a feeling of stability. I like a neutral-rise shoe and this provides that while still offering good cushioning. I tend to run on asphalt and occasionally gravel, and lots of hills - I appreciate the amount of cushion I get with these shoes while still feeling the ground beneath me. Cute colors but terrible shoe

I hate these shoes. I wore them for three days and hate them more each day. Because I've worn them multiple times, I don't think I can return them.Things particular to my feet that didn't work: the shoes pinch on the top of my foot and are loose at the heel. If you have wide feet at the top or narrow heels, these shoes won't work. Ordering a half-size up did not remedy the issue.Things particular to the design that don't work: the laces are so short you can barely double knot them. The shoes are not well-cushioned, so if you do a lot of walking, you're going to feel every contact your feet make with the pavement.

Faster but may not be better

The Hyperion did was claimed - that carbon fiber plate shaved almost 2 minutes from my normal jog. It could just be psychological, but I felt the transition was smoother. Perhaps that was how I got faster.But I felt more sore in my hip areas. This could very likely be overcome as I got more used to the shoes. However, I might also have put more stress on my hip joint areas, which I didn't want and tried to avoid.Coupled with the fact that these were more expensive than my Ghosts, I can only give it a 3-star rating.Comfort level was similar to my Ghosts

Great Shoe Overall for Daily Exercise

I am a casual runner and depending on the weather, I will either run outdoors or on my treadmill. When it comes to important qualities (to me) in a running/training shoe - the “heel rub”, the width of the toe and the weight of the shoe are all at the top of my list. The Hyperion shoe checks all three boxes. I find the sneaker to be a very comfortable weight for exercising. The toe area is a perfect width as to not squish my toes when running. Lastly, the heel of the shoe doesn’t seem to rub against me causing uncomfortable blisters (which is especially important when running for extended periods of time AND sweating profusely). The sneakers fit true to size. I’m a true size 8, received a size 8 and they fit absolutely perfect. The Hyperion GTS is definitely not a shoe to be slept on. Initially, I intended to wear them solely as a running shoe. After a few short sessions I realized I could easy wear these to the office as they were both super comfortable and fashionable. When wearing them outside under the sun they have a really cool sheen that isn’t too over the top. In office it’s more subtle, and works well with shorts or jeans. I will say that at first I was a bit worried about the fit because of how snug they were. After a little walking around I realized that my concern was without merit. Despite the low profile and light weight design, my feet felt well supported and connected with each stride. If I had to reach for a negative it would be that I can’t just slip these shoes on. Given the type of shoe it is though, it makes sense. It’s meant to form around your feet and keep you planted, a slip-on shoe can’t give you that at the level these shoes are designed to deliver. Honestly, I love these shoes and out of the 10 pairs that I rotate through for various occasions, these will be in the my top 3.

My new go to shoe!!

I LOVE these shoes!! I am training for a triathlon right now and using the shoes for running and biking (as I don’t use clip in shoes). I am a nurse and have also used them for 12 hour shifts, which include a lot of walking. I love the color; it reminds me of watermelons and super bright and fun. I also love how cushioned, lightweight, and breathable they are. My feet don’t get super sweaty in the Alabama heat of summer. I also love that the tongue of the shoe is attached (I will post a picture to demonstrate.) This keeps the tongue from sliding around while cross training and while putting shoe on. The only downside I’ve seen so far is the shoe is easy to stain. I got mud on the right shoe and I cleaned it off, yet you can still see the spot. It’s not super ... MoreI LOVE these shoes!!
