I have been wanting one of these since I started baking Sourdough Rye and the Proving basket is perfect for the complete experience and looks of the final Bake. Nice product, so is the Emile Henry Bread Oven. Just took my bread out of the oven and it’s perfect again.

Dough stuck first time as flour wouldn’t hold to sides but second time I wet it and coated heavily with flour and semolina and dough came out easily.

Basket is of exceptional quality. Have baked several sourdough loaves and have been super happy with shape and form provided by the basket. Keen to buy a second one (perhaps round) to expand my sourdough production. Just remember to dust the basket with flour (rice) or use a liner to prevent dough from sticking
