I work in a busy hand therapy clinic and we use EMS and IFC everyday. We assign a set of electrodes to a patient and are able to re-use them for 4-5 weeks.. Previously we were using another brand and the gel would come off after a few uses, and the connector would break. Metron electrodes are well constructed and last.

Does it make a difference if the medication is applied to the positive side and the saline is on the negative side? Will this cause a negative reaction or no reaction?
