I used to buy the bodybuilding.com signature series protein bars. They have been out of stock or pretty much discontinued for awhile. I needed to find another protein bar. Did my research. This one checks all the boxes. Great Ingredients. Great protein. Low sugar. AWESOME flavors. If you like rice Krispy treats you will love these! Vanilla marshmallow is the BEST! But I enjoy every flavor.

So I think this is the best flavour of these there is! It is slightly salty and has actual bits of pretzels in it - which in turn makes it less sickly sweet! I do love the birthday cake variety but this one is just such a pleasant balance between salty and sweet, it really is a winner in terms of flavour. I also like that the bottom isn't dipped in chocolate but rather toffee, and it has a mild flavour to it. Such a great snack/dessert and really feels like a treat every time I eat it!

Beyond that it tastes deliciously sweet and dessert-y without being overly heavy like most protein bars. So if you're looking for an intense chocolate flavor, this might not be your bar. But, if you're a fan of crunchy rice-krispie-esque bars than hands down BSN Protein Crisps are the best. In terms of "puffed" non-soft protein bars, this is my favorite, and outclasses the Quest Hero Bar and Pure Protein lines, imo. Even though the BSN Crisp may not be as decadent, it more than makes up for it with a large size for only a bit over 200cals. Taste is amazing! Great crunch and satisfy my craving for sugary wafer. The size is pretty big, sometimes I can control myself and not eat the entire bar. It's 220cal per bar which is quite a bit and similar to a candy bar. Obviously with better macros given the higher protein count. However, ingredient could be way better and cleaner, they should remove inflammatory oil like palm and canola oil, maltodextrin etc

I do not eat protein bars that are over 10g of sugar but with this amount is good enough and can work with it. Carbs and fat on it is perfectly fine.
