Evened and brightened my skin tone

This is the first vitamin c serum I've ever tried and I can definitely say I notice a difference after a month of consistent use. I have fair, mid 20's skin and felt like my complexion was so dull. I liked the price point of this vitamin c serum compared to other brands, so I went for it. I have very pink undertones and my skin is definitely a little splotchy in some spots. This has dedinitely helped make my skin tone more even and I somehow feel like my bare skin appears more glowy. I use twice a day, morning and night, as my first step after I wash my face. I then wait 10-15 mins before applying other moisturizers. Love it!

Fantastic serum, but small

I actually really love this serum and has allowed me to consolidate a few different serums into one, which is always a good thing. The issue I have with this product is the size. I use it in the AM and the PM, but it doesn't even last a month for me. I don't have an issue with the cost, so I am currently buying two of them at a time. The part I take issue with, is the wasted packaging from buying two every month. I really wish brands would make sure they are selling a serum in package size that will actually last a month when being used as directed. That's all I'm doing. Using it exactly as directed. It's such a waste of packaging. By all means, sell a smaller size for people to try it for the first time. But also sell a variant in a package that will last a month.

Good for simple skincare routines or new Vitamin C users.

Great Beginner Serum

I have been using this for more than 6 months now. I use it in the morning as is typical for any product with Vitamin C. I love how it lays under makeup. It absorbs into my skin immediately and doesn't interact badly with any SPF or complexion product I've tried on top. Some days I'll use it as a nice base when I need assurance that my makeup and other skincare won't negatively interact with each other.In the first 3 months. I definitely noticed my skin became a lot smoother. My texture almost completely disappeared. However, I did not see a big difference in my pigmentation. Even after 6 months, not much change. I have a lot of sun spots and discoloration from acne scars that was not improved much by this product. I adore this serum

I have eczema-prone sensitive combination skin and this serum is one of the very few vitamin c serums I can actually use. It's so gentle but really has brightened my skin and helped to brighten my skin of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It doesn't pill and helps to soothe my dry flaky areas. Great purchase, I'm definitely buying it again once I finish this bottle.PS If you're an adult with reactive sensitive skin, give brands targeted at teens and pre-teens like Bubble, Simple and Byoma a shot. They have great products with actives that really work.

I really like this stuff

I have very sensitive combo skin. 34 yo female and just developed combo skin from normal skin, and deep painful acne at 33. After getting on antibiotic the breakouts cleared up but left me with textured and scarred skin on my chin. I used this religiously 1-2/day for a few weeks and after the first week I saw huge improvements in my skin and after a month a lot of the scarring lightened and the texture was almost back to normal. You should at least give this product a try. It's worth the money. I have found I like a lot of their products better than Drunk Elephant. Def worth trying since Ulta has such a forgiving return policy. 10/10 for my skin.

That being said, for experienced active users, the vitamin c does virtually nothing in this product and I saw limited results after a solid month of daily use. The tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, and niacinamide are the heavy hitters in this product. Although they only slightly reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (or post acne dark marks), it does help to minimize how severe or dark new marks are from ongoing breakouts.
