Buddha Teas Hibiscus Tea is a 100% organic herbal tea that contains the world's finest herbs for a delicious tea experience. Hibiscus tea is a brilliant red flower tea with a refreshingly sweet and tangy taste. It works well as an invigorating warm tea or a refreshing iced beverage. Hibiscus Tea Health Benefits- With their large, vibrantly colored petals, hibiscus flowers have become an iconic symbol for a tropical paradise. Typically found in warm and tropical climates, hibiscus plants vary in size from little shrubs to small trees. Likewise, their flowers have their own individuality, and come in a broad range of colors and sizes, with red being one of the most popular. Hibiscus blossoms are the national flower of South Korea, Malaysia and Haiti. They also have spiritual significance and play an important part in Hindu ceremonies. Though many may find it surprising, these beautiful flowers are edible, and are served dried or coated in sugar to create candied hibiscus flowers in many parts of the world. Taste and quality are not the only positive points of freshly brewed hibiscus tea. This jewel of the herbal tea world is also an excellent source of essential micronutrients. Hibiscus is known to have high amounts of vitamin C, and also offers natural antioxidants. It contains a number of active constituents, including citric acid, the source of its refreshing tangy taste. Pectin, flavonols, anthocyanins, sterols and mucilage are also found in hibiscus. All of these elements together create even more reasons to indulge in a fresh cup of hibiscus tea. Having a fresh pitcher of iced hibiscus tea can be great during hot summers, or you can enjoy warm with a blend of spearmint tea during colder weather. Hibiscus tea is a Buddha Teas favorite and you may soon find it to be a favorite of yours too!

Very good hibiscus tea. No need to add anything to it. Not bitter or too tart. Others commented that the box was damaged but this order was packaged well, maybe too much packaging. I did find that it was slightly difficult to get the tea bag out because the string is wrapped around it. I have to shake the packet to make sure the tea bag is in the bottom of the packet so it doesn't rip when opening, then grab the whole tea bag out instead of grabbing it by the string. The quotes on the paper attached to the string are a nice touch. A little expensive and shipping takes a while. Overall a good purchase and will order again.

Well the box is fancier than the other dozen or so sleep teas I have, but the taste and smell are the blandest, and the effect on insomnia unnoticeable. I even tried using three bags per mug, and lots of honey, and it's still bland. Better off with one of the Traditional Medicinals options, or even plain ol Sleepytime.

I drink this tea everyday! Great quality, ingredients with robust flavor and color. I like the fact that this tea is very healthy. The best thing about this product is that no sugar is needed!!! The tea comes in a great sealed packet. Give this product a try, it’s delicious!!

Excellent! TASTE
8 April 2022

I love this one here, it tastes wonderful I use it, especially when I might feel a little under the weather and it help, blended nicely and looks rich, and taste RICH. NIC size package and beautiful box that it comes in with BUDHA quotes included. what else do i need to say get you some of this and you won't be disappointed. This is the best I've had so far from any tea company. thanks, IHERB.

Good
7 June 2023

Got the tea for my husband to help him with stress. The taste is herbal, I like herbal teas, pleasant to drink. But can’t say if it helps to sleep better or helping with stress management as we are also taking other supplements, but I like the taste and smell.Doesn’t cause any allergies or side effects so far. Quality seems to be good.

Poor quality packaging
27 May 2019

The tea itself is wonderful, I guess. I've yet to find out. The edge of every single teabag in this box is sealed into the edge of it's envelope. So when you tear open the envelope it also tears the teabag. The tea itself goes everywhere. If enough tea can be salvaged to make a cup then it will have to be strained to get the tea leaf out. I wanted usable teabags not loose tea. Very disappointed in this product.

Wonderful tea!
28 January 2022

Buddha Teas- Organic “Hibiscus” by far is my favorite organic hibiscus tea, bursting with flavor, perfect warm or chilled (add fresh lime). It’s my morning go to!I’ve tried several other reputable brands and they fell short on overall flavor, intensity.I do want to note sometimes I do steep 2-3 tea bags per large coffee mug, and add a tiny bit of honey.
