When loading, the loaded salt can be within another hidden container. One that can bypass angle problems (loaded salt is compact). However, this type of design will complicate parts though, increasing the chance to break.

I mean no harm with the quality rating but lets be honest. Its made of plastic. I must admit, I have not had the opportunity to shoot anything with it. I want the first kill to be a trophy wall mounter. Ive passed on many juvenile pests, they will grow, become better targets and be dead soon enough!! Shipping was quick, I actually bought 2, now I just need to find holsters! Look fun for sure

A hilariously fun and useful product that works way better than expected! This seems like a joke product, but it's already been really useful around the house and outdoors.When a fly is in a corner, or between a chair and a wall it's near impossible to get them by conventional means. The bug-a-salt really shines here.When hanging outside in the summer sometimes a large pesky fly will decide to hang out with us. Now we just wait for them to land a "safe" distance away and take them out. Problem solved!Lastly I just want to talk about what it's like to have salt all over your apartment. It's fine. The vacuum cleaner picks it up easily and if it gets into food or an open drinking glass there's no health concerns. Plus ammo is cheap!
To begin, you can feel the quality of the item. Being made of plastic, it can be hard to get that feel, but they did it. The pump-action feels sturdy and satisfying and nothing on the gun jiggles around like a cheap hunk of plastic.Felt kinda pricey until I started to use it. I HAVE KILLED MORE FLYS IN ONE DAY THAN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WITH A FLY SWATTER. The day I got this salt flinging gun was D-Day for the flys in my yard.
I had a problem with my old, out of warranty bug a salt gun, not always feeding salt and worn firing mechanism. I emailed Bug a salt for advice for, if an how it could be fixed. To my surprise and delight I was sent their latest model free as a replacement. The new 3.0 model is amazing. It shoots much harder and has a very consistent pattern. I was so pleased with Bug a salt's response that I ordered two more 3.0 guns for gifts. We have a lot of seasonal bugs here in "swamp east Missouri." Great product!
I work in an old building attached to a warehouse and an unbelievable, annoying number of flies buzz into my office. When I get out a fly swatter they retreat up into the aluminum cross beams of the flourescent light fixtures... no way to swat them up there, infuriating! Then I got the Bug-A-Salt rifle, fly perched up on the beam? BAM, got it. It is so satisfying to eliminate those buzzy little pests. There are also a lot of gnats hovering about. At first I thought they were dodging the the salt spray and still hovering. Then I realized it was their wings still floating in the air, body nowhere to be seen.
Top Shelf Product!!!.. My wife hated my using flying insect spray. My son told me about this flying insect gun that uses salt, when I went online and saw your gun I jumped on it. I originally had a problem with the first gun ( Black 3.0). I called customer service and sent it back for repair but I loved the gun so much I purchased a (Orange Crush 3.0). These guns are AMAZING, Customer Service...AMAZING! Not only did they fix my Black 3.0 Mr. Lorenzo sent me one for my Father-inlaw. He gets a kick out of blasting the flies when he's sitting on the patio. Thank you again for making a great product.My wife even gets a kick out of blasting flies....lolol. I've put thousands of shots through a 2.0 and wanted to try the 3.0 version. I liked the new lighter trigger, as my old 2.0's internal action mechanics finally cracked. Hopefully this one holds up better. The 3.0 could use a larger salt hopper for those of us living next to ranches and only gets about 100-120 shots. The 3.0 has a tighter/deeper shot pattern, but it is particular on the type of salt being used. I prefer Morton's Iodized salt, but kosher salt works too but not as good. The supermarket salt brands were inconsistent and sometimes clogged. Once I figured this out, things were much better.
I bought one for my dad as a novelty father's day gift but this thing is actually really good at killing flys and other annoying bugs. In fact, it works so well I bought one for myself. It kills the bugs without leaving a big mess like a fly swatter. Just a dead bug and a little salt. I'm very pleased.
