We use as an overnight sleep solution in our room for my 4-month old now that she has outgrown the bassinet. The smaller size means that it fits well in our tight bedroom and it is easy to fold up during the day when not in use. We appreciate the super-easy fold, how the mattress is not removed, and how it is lightweight for carrying and roadtrips. Playards are not officially sleep-safe in Canada but the Stardust is approved for overnight sleep in the US and we decided that was appropriate for us.

Although I rated this cot 3stars, I do love it.PROs: Its slim design when folded up makes it easy to store at home & in the car. It literally takes seconds to fold up & unfold. We have had no issues with the mattress & find that it is one of the better ones (thicker) compared to other cots.CONs: These are the reasons I gave this cot 3stars. The cot is quite small so my large 2yr old has basically grown out of it. I was hoping it would last him a bit longer. Because of the mattress safety design, the only sheet available is the Bugaboo one & the only colour is white. The cot has very high sides & the base it very low. While this doesn't affect me as I am tall, I could see this could be a difficult design for someone shorter. I think they have made changes to this ... MoreAlthough I rated this cot 3stars, I do love it.PROs: Its slim design when folded up makes it easy to store at home & in the car. Purchased this for a few upcoming travel periods. Although it’s not been used yet (weeks time) it’s a great compact size without feeling like we will outgrow it. Number 1 selling feature is the 1 second fold out and pack down. Not complicated so easy and no more folding with external mattresses and releasing 4 sides. Only downside I can see for myself being short it’s a long way down to bed when carrying the weight of your child however it does mean it can contain a toddler.

We LOVE the bugaboo donkey. Not so much this bed. Did not like, too difficult and expensive to return. It takes a little practice to get it to close up properly. It’s painfully difficult to get the mattress on and off the bottom because some of the fabric latches are in covered. We have used the guava lotus in the past and loved it! We bought this for an easier fold in a shared space. However, our baby wouldn’t sleep longer than one hour in it. We also didn’t love it as much as we thought we would. We went back to the lotus and everyone is happier. The frame sits collecting dust in a corner and we are using the mattress as a floor bed in another room. I looked up returning but to pay shipping would eat up such a chunk of the money we paid that it didn’t feel worth ... MoreWe LOVE the bugaboo donkey. Not so much this bed. Great bed. Easy to open but a little more challenging to close as I have to put my foot in the middle under the bed to lift to fold back up, I don’t think that should be the case (definitely not as easy as shown in the Bugaboo film). Bed is better than any other camping bed I looked at as the material is sturdy and durable, looks nice and is very compact and really love how easy it is to open. The Bugaboo film shows the bed has poppers to hold it in the closed position. I don’t know how old this film is because the bed I purchased June 2023 has Velcro fastening. I emailed Bugaboo via their website contact form to ask if they have a mosquito net for the bed as an accessory as at CenterParcs this was needed as so many mosquitos in the room the baby ended up sleeping ... MoreGreat bed. A product not related to the Bugaboo, I purchased an AeroSleep mattress protector as I found the Bugaboo mattress quite thin, but I guess that has to be the case to enable to fold it so compact. This is a great mattress protector as I didn’t want the Bugaboo mattress to get soiled and it adds a bit of extra thickness. I also purchased the AeroSleep fitted sheet. With the current heatwave in the Netherlands, this has been great for the baby as she doesn’t sweat so much. Would I recommend this bed 100% yes.
We bought two of these for our twin babies . They work great until you lower the mattress to be a sleep/play pen. Both my babies have been injured multiple times with the metal poles on each corner. My son has had bruises on his head so severely that we took him to the Dr. my husband even placed pool foam floating on each end to see it it might help but failed. Very bad engineering. I’m am very surprised no one else has notice these defect . This item is totally waiting for a lawsuit . I do not recommend at all!
We keep this in our living room as somewhere for our newborn to sleep during the day, then pack it up and take with us on visits to the grandparents etc. It's very sturdy for a portable crib and comes with a carry case. It isn't the most compact, but it's still very portable. You have the option of using as a bassinet or crib (you can unzip the bassinet section). One side sits lower than the other which is helpful if you wish to have it next to your bed.We love the colour and overall look of this in our living room where it's very visible. Would recommend
This play yard is so good for it's size. It's a little smaller than a typical "pack-n-play" but works great for any small spaces (hotels, condos, apartments, etc.) We've been able to take ours on road trips and even to grandparent's houses so our son could nap conveniently anywhere in their house. The zip-in bed was great for when our son was smaller and would take naps. Then as he grew, we could easily remove the top section and it functioned like a regular "pack-n-play" for naps and play. The unfold is insanely quick too! SO MUCH better than the old-school "pack-n-plays". The fold is fairly easy and the storage is pretty slim. We've been able to tuck ours in a closet, under our bed, and even behind couches.
Really happy with this travel cot. Relatively flat when packed up, which worked better for our car boot space than those that pack up into more of a cuboid shape. Really easy to set up and put away. Bassinet function works well for our 5 month old (the mattress feels like it dips ever so slightly in the middle in this format, which doesn't affect her comfort and is ok for a short time but it would put me off using it as a permanent next-to-me style crib). Full size cot has a more rigid base so I think the mattress flexing issue will be solved in this format.Ease of folding has made this cot very versatile for a trip away as it has provided a night time cot that can easily be moved to another room for day naps (we don't have a monitor yet so prefer her to nap and ... MoreReally happy with this travel cot. Can't see us using it as a play pen but it's convenient enough to leave around at home if you just needed somewhere safe to put little one while you go to the loo, answer door, etc. Also a good temporary alternative to Moses basket (which she's outgrown) for day naps for a month or so before transition to proper cot.
we bought this 3 months ago to use as a bassinet in our room. so far it has done great! I've washed the mattress sheet many times, and it's held up great. the one thing I'm a little concerned is about the tan fabric got some breastmilk on it and I haven't attempted to hand wash it yet -- hopefully it comes out!! another suggestion would be to put the suffocation warning a little lower so its not seen, but I understand why and my baby seems to like looking at the black and white of the warning sign. lol
