I love my stylish kettle and people often comment on it. I wouldn't normally spend that sort of money on something as utilitarian as a kettle so it was an indulgence. Works well, looks good & easy to use. Time will tell if it is well built but so far so good!

We purchased a Bugatti Vera Kettle many years ago and it finally died. Decided to purchase another one as they look great. It works but it does not have the same functionality as the earlier model - it simply has an on/off switch and the chrome is a yellowed colour (similar to when chrome discolours through age- not like the bright shiny one we purchased many years ago! The previous model did so much more but it is still the same price for the new one. At $465 it looks great but the chrome finish is not so good.

Bought this kettle years ago, its style was the reason. Looks so good and different. Unfortunately it died and a replacement was needed. Looked at many others but was still impressed with the Bugatti style. Not many retailers stock this model as it's rather expensive. Harts of Stur did and the price was the best I found.Delivery time was very good and the kettle looks fabulous in my kitchen. If you want a bit style and class its a good choice. I picked the chrome version, other colours also available.

I brought this kettle to match the toaster I was getting from the same line, when it came I thought the colour seemed off but considering it was advertised as ‘chrome’ I figured rather than a typical silver colour it instead was meant to have more of a golden tinge to it. I put it down to inaccurate photos and purchased my toaster soon after. When the toaster arrived and was a shiny classic silver that matched the site photos I realised the kettle was completely off and didn’t match at all. Very frustrating considering the set cost me over $500 and they don’t even match! I think the kettle colour was a defect and I got a dudd but too late to return so I’m stuck with a very expensive mismatched toaster and kettle pair that is slowly chipping away at my sanity day by ... I think the kettle colour was a defect and I got a dudd but too late to return so I’m stuck with a very expensive mismatched toaster and kettle pair that is slowly chipping away at my sanity day by day.In terms of functionality it’s fine, does the job and doesn’t take ages to boil however you need to let it cool a bit before you refill and use again as the only way to open the jug is by pressing the lid and as this is metal you can imagine this gets very hot.To be honest, it’s fancy, different from the norm and a conversation starter considering the brand however not worth the money and I wouldn’t purchase again. It’s all just a bit of hype.
We have previously had the previous model which worked fine for about 6 years until the on/off button stuck and we ordered a new one. However we contacted Bugatti and with some CRC we have it working fine again albeit the new model as purchased has a superior switch device to eliminate the earlier issues!
Purchased to replace another designer kettle. The build quality for something that is so expensive is not there.The boil switch is cheap and nasty as is the catch to open the kettle.My feeling is it wont last the distance given the feel and reading the other reviews.Buy only for its looks and not for function or quality
Unfortunately this kettle does not like be up to its looks. The lid doesn’t close properly and the kettle takes a long time to boil. So disappointed
We bought the Bugatti Electric Kettle based on it fitting our decor, its style and our need for a new kettle. Because we bought on line, we couldn’t trial it.The kettle is unbalanced, very heavy and very difficult to fill. Using it is akin to a weight lifting workout. Not recommended if you have arthritis or weak wrist/forearm.
