Build-A-Shed 1.2 x 5.2 x 2.0m Skillion Double with Single Sliding Side Doors Shed - Zinc

Very fiddle to build. Instructions are very light on and confusing at times. Paint scratches easily and BMT of steel is that thin it dents just by looking at it! When it all comes together - definitely allow 2 full days then it’s a basic very light weight garden shed. Interested to see how it performs in a hail storm?

Went together exactly as instructed, delivered in a timely manner, I would recommend.

Good product. No real issues putting it together, read instructions carefully and the videos are also very helpful.
The package came in 9 flat pack boxes as mentioned and able to fit all into my Honda CRV with the back seats down. 1 is quite heavy and require 2 people lift. The build was generally easy with spare screw aplenty. For the sliding door, you need the rivet gun to rivet in for the door support (not mentioned) but the rest are using self-tapping screw. We find that using elevated saw horse or bench would help and best to align the panels together before commencing screw in. Instructions are easy to follow.Building the shed include building 1 half and then the other half, and using the wall joiner to join them together. Be sure to build at the site as they are quite heavy when completed, and moving it is a pain.We encountered 2 minor issues.1. Instructions are easy to follow.Building the shed include building 1 half and then the other half, and using the wall joiner to join them together. Be sure to build at the site as they are quite heavy when completed, and moving it is a pain.We encountered 2 minor issues.1. The 1500mm Skillion Shed Wall Joiner (to join the 2 halves together) whereby the provided support 66A, that holds the sliding door rail, does not align with the SJ08 Jamp. The screw holes does not match and we had to drill a hole onto the 66A to screw in the SJ08 Jamp. Only had to do this for the front (top and bottom) where it connects the sliding door rail. The back mount 66A is ok and fits.2. Not mentioned in the instructions > DO NOT FIX IN the roof panels closest to the joiner before attaching the 2 half together with the 1500mm Skillion Shed Wall Joiner. We screw in all the roof panels (on both of the half) and when it comes to attaching them together with the wall joiner, we had to remove the roof panels again to fit in the 66A joiner and screw them in to hold the 2 half together. Then screw back the roof panels.Other than these 2 hiccups, shed is well made and able to withstand the strong thunderstorm and wind that came a few days later, with no leaks. Make sure to enforce to the footing.
Bought this shed a few months ago. Each panel was separately packaged in cardboard, foam etc. while yard full of rubbish for a few panels, such a waste. The metal is so soft it dents when pushing fingernail into it!!It constantly leaks even with the slightest rain as the design is woeful, these should be banned from importing.I should have built my own- would be stronger and cheaper!!Do not ever order these sheds!!!Needs ZERO STARS!
Great product. Well Made.
The build quality is OK, but the quality control is not amazing on some items. The assembly instructions are also challenging to understand, and it would be a lot better if the assembly instructions were emailed out with the order confirmation. I struggled to assemble the shed in the space as I didn't have a large enough area to lay the sheets down. The joining kit for larger sheds also assumes that you can get around all sides of the shed once it is assembled, which was not possible for me due to an existing fence.
Quality of the product is good. All pieces arrived in the boxes. Not difficult not follow but if doing it yourself, allow enough time. Can take quite a long time assembling all pieces. Only disappointing thing, was the accuracy of some of the pieces. I had to make some small modifications to make things fit.
This shed kit came in 5 boxes which were well packaged to protect the contents from damage. In total around 16 man hours were used in its construction with a second person required for the final connection of the wall panels. It is important that the slab on which the shed is to be mounted extends at least 100mm past the door entries to facilitate screw down of the door ramps. Pre-drilled holes in 3 of the boxes were well aligned, however, one box had several holes out of position requiring re-drilling. The instructions are in 5 booklets of some 74 pages and reasonably clearly describe the assembly process. I swung my end door from the left by swapping the top and bottom pairs of the door frame, inverting the door and drilling 4 holes for the top corner braces. this ... MoreThis shed kit came in 5 boxes which were well packaged to protect the contents from damage.
