Great for Dry Eye and Eye Pain !!!
6 September 2016

I see fro other reviews that most people take this for Migraine Headaches. I do no suffer from Migraines, but I do have eye pain caused by a large eye floater which subsequently caused some retinopathy. This happened 2 years ago. I was told that either it would heal on its own, or require surgery within a year. I am not a believer in surgery until it is absolutely necessary. I opted for supplements designed to heal the retina. Riboflavin (Vit.B2) and Thiamine (B1), Collageni.C and Hyalauronic Acid, Taurine, Vit A, Betacarotene, Lycopene have cured most of my eye problems. Light sensitivity, eye pain, swelling, dry eye, blurred vision and eye strain, have all been decreased dramatically by using this protocol. My retina is healed and my eyesight is improving. BulkSuppliments has always been the one GoTo company for my vitamins. One has to remember that the bulky multivitamins are almost pointless when it comes to the body absorbing everything they have to offer. No reaction
17 January 2023

I have to be very careful which supplements I take as I often react to the fillers and coatings in them. I'm able to take these supplements without any negative reaction and that is very rare - I am now a customer for life. Also, this bag of B2 will probably last me for the rest of my life (which is a great bonus!).

Not what I expected
9 August 2021

The item does not have a unit of measurement that is easy to understand. It states that there are 50mg per serving. How do I measure that? Serving size of what? Per teaspoon? Per half teaspoon? I had to google how to measure that out of the bag. This product needs to be put into gel capsules. I tried adding it to water, it was horrible. It would be helpful to have some instructions for use either, on the bag or on the website. Otherwise, I made do. I added it to water with lemon juice and that helped a bit.

Riboflavin is an essential cofactor for many metabolic reactions

Seems to Be Working to Help with Migraines
8 October 2016

I started taking this to fix migraines after I read in a medical journal about studies that showed it can help long-term to reduce or eliminate migraine.I've been dealing with migraine with severe vomiting for over 20 years. This seems to be working. I have even reduced the pain of migraine by taking extra when one is coming on. This is part of my "mito cocktail" of supplements with daily Ubiquinol and Riboflavin as the cornerstone and L-Carnitine added during a flare or crash. I dump 1/4 teaspoon of this onto 1/4 cup milk and immediately take a spoon and scoop it with some milk into my mouth. The remaining Riboflavin sinks to the bottom so I then stir that into the milk and drink it. This is the best way I have found to take it without encapsulating it. Make sure to rinse containers and spoons and wipe counter as this does stain everything yellow. One comment particularly about this product and bulksupplelements, and that is, they do not disclose their sources on the packaging, so I presume most of their raw materials are coming from China. China and India are the major suppliers of bulk vitamin substrates worldwide. What kind of lab testing is done on the raw materials when they receive them to ensure purity? This is my main concern with the bulk supplement industry. Anyone can order bulk supplements from China or India and repackage them for sale to consumers. Large suppliers MIGHT have in-house HPLC equipment to test the raw materials themselves, but suppliers like bulksupplements most likely do not have the hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in this equipment (much less the expertise to use it). This is one argument for FDA regulation over the supplement/vitamin industry, which is a pandora's box. Consumers need to be aware of the contamination issues with supplements and the lack of regulation and not trust everything that is labeled. I took the risk when I ordered this bulk supplement, knowing these things.
