Superb watch. Many reviews go a little over the top about this watch being too big. I have a very small wrist but do not find the watch too big. Yes, it is a large watch but wears confortably, it is not sharp or abrasive on the rear like some case backs. My one complaint is that the chronograph only records up to one hour & the minute gradations on the minute counter are hard to see because they are too close together. It is useful enough for timing short term parking or cooking etc. The quality is as good as some watches three times the price or more & of course, just as it says in the the marketing, it is extremely accurate. I would have gladly traded away that accuracy for a mechanical movement though. I recommend it without hesitation.

I have been after a Lunar Pilot for a while now and decided to treat myself for my birthday . H Samuel had a great deal on this watch in the sale so I took the plunge. The watch was delivered the next day which was really impressive.The Lunar Pilot lived up to all of my expectations in the metal, it really is a great looking watch and has a fascinating back story.If you are considering buying one then go for it. It's a great watch and you will be bowled over.

Very happy with my purchase. Purchase was easy and professional. Delivery was fantastic.Now for the watch. I like it very much. It IS on the larger size but I can pull it off. It looks better in real life, stock images make it look even bigger. The leather band it comes with is a slight let down but I easily replaced it with a Nato. Also to help others avoid confusion. I believe this is the 1st gen reissue of this watch. There is a "(gen 2) that has the date window removed and the "Bulova" text is slightly different font (More like the original of the time)But I am still very happy with this watch. Nice for special occasions and the history can be a good talking topic when around other watch people.

A great watch for the price. Size is of course a limiting factor for people with wrists under 7inches. For those like me with 7.5+ it is a great purchase and a nice fit. Quartz doesn't bother me, especially in this movement that gives the small seconds hand a nice tick. The chronograph's hand has a smooth motion (looks more like an automatic). Straps are good and the extra velcro one is a well thought bonus. The dial and case are really fantastic and construction seems pretty solid and well finished. Love it. On top of that, StarBuy pre and post sales - just above the average, a nice experience. Well recommended.
I got this watch because of its (slightly tenuous) link to its moon landing heritage and because I found a deal half that of RRP. However, whilst I thought it would be a nice watch I was very pleasantly surprised how nice it really is. Case finishing is top notch and all the hands on the various dials line up exactly! My other watches are all mechanical movements and I find myself grabbing this watch when Im in a hurry as its always telling the right time and date. Do be aware that this is a large watch - I have an 8 circumference wrist and t feels comfortable to me but Im not sure it will work well with a smaller wrist. Of my various watches this is, by far, the easiest to read the time on. First off, the service from Starbuy was excellent. The pricing, the website and associated info and pics, and the packaging and rapid postage were all fantastic.As for the watch, I bought this initially coz I couldn't get the Moonswatch, but after researching I decided two things, 1. The Moonswatch is an overpriced and under engineered toy, and 2. The Bulova Lunar Pilot is an awesome watch, with a high beat calibre, a rich history and has actually walked on the moon. This is a beautiful piece and unlike the Swatch it is well worth the investment. I love it and contrary to many reviews, I do not find it too big at all.

I have been dreaming about purchasing the Bulova moon watch for quite some time. I was however put off by the numerous reviews that it is too large for most people's wrists. But on purchasing it I found the watch to be very comfortable and just the right size. The high beat quartz movement means you have fantastic time keeping. The watch face is beautifully designed and very easy to read. The very unusual pushers are stylish and a joy to use. My only criticism of the watch is the deployment clasp which makes it difficult to make small adjustments to the bracelet. The watch was very well described by the seller. It was well packaged and sent promptly. Thus, I would recommend this seller.

Helpful and friendly, she opened the presentation box and handed me the watch to examine and it was in perfect order, no scratches or lint on the dial. The watch itself is beautiful very faithful in design to the original watch worn on the moon (although this is quartz not an automatic). It could easily be mistaken for an Omega Speed master or a Rolex Daytona as all 3 had to meet Nasa design specs so have a similar look about them. Its very easy to use, not that many wearers will use it for anything other than telling the time. It sits well on the wrist not as large as you think it may be though. First, the elephant in the room; it's a big watch.I have a 7.5" wrist and it fits perfectly, the 52mm lug-to-lug might be a bit big for wrists 7" or less.Second, I'm not the biggest fan of chronographs OR quartz watches, but this is a real beaut.Third, the back-story. I like the idea behind it and don't really care whether it's 100% accurate or not.Fourth, the price.
