Bumbo Changing Pad - Grey

This was a lot more of a must than we realized. We originally bought a soft fabric changing pad but quickly realized the Bumbo takes the cake. It’s still cushioned enough for baby but SO easy to clean. Great for tabletop as it has straps or soft enough to still go on the floor.

We have enjoyed our Bumbo changing pad. We purchased the sage green color and love we can just wipe it down when our little one makes a mess while on it. We did buy some changing pad liners to keep from laying her on the cold service but that doesn’t seem to bother her too much. The liners actually help absorb messes as well. The changing pad did slide on our cabinet surface but we purchased some contact paper and that seems to have solved the problem. We would recommend to new parent for sure!

Best Purchase Ever!

This is by far our most used product for our baby girl! I use this bumbo changing pad all throughout the house! I keep it in our living room during the day and move it to our master bedroom at night! It’s perfect to through in the back of the car too for the out and about diaper changes! This is not the changing pad we use in the nursery, but this is our second changing pad or mobile changing pad I call it. Not only is it great for changing diapers, but our baby girl also loves laying there hanging out! I originally purchased a Keekaroo peanut changer and it came in damaged and scuffed up, so BBB sent me another one, which also was in poor quality and condition. So, finally I purchased this bumbo instead and couldn’t be happier! Definitely worth every penny!

Favorite baby item!

We bought this for our now 12 week old baby. With my first we had a traditional changing pad with covers. The pad fell apart and the covers had to be washed constantly. I love this changing pad!!! It's so easy to clean and the sides prevent the baby from rolling off of it. Nothing to wash and it doesn't fall apart. It's very sturdy. My baby loves being changed. The changing pad is genuinely her favorite spot! She always smiles on it. Highly recommend this!

I've got two lol

I love these. After my first two boys soaking those crazy expensive for the product foam and cardboard changing pads I started searching for something I could clean and was comfortable. Its so easy to clean. Iusually just lay a reviewing blanket or waterproof mat on top of it's cold. I currently have had one for years and it's held up great! We have moved 3 times with it, take it on vacation or when we visit friends and family. My son sometimes even naps on it if it is laying on the floor. The older one was next to windows and exposed to sun, some of the teal color has kinda yellowed , but who cares? Purchased another recently to have multiple changing areas in our home for our ever expanding family.

My favorite and worth it purchase!

I spent so much time researching for changing pad for my second baby. First, because I don’t what the hassle of changing the pad cover so often as changing my baby’s diaper. Second, I want a changing pad that I can move around the house. I liked the features of “peanut” changing pad at first but it is too expensive for a simple changing pad. So I looked for other pads with similar features. And this Bumbo is one of the few. And of course, it met all are needs and more. It is very affordable and efficient. The quality is great. No chemical smell and easy cleaning. We have been using this for almost 5months and it is still looking new and clean.

Not sure if it’s worth the extra cost.

I was so pleased with this matching babe’s nursery and Bumbo seat. I love that it’s wipeable and doesn’t require extra laundry. The buckle and lip is also reassuring since she’s started wiggling around. The size is pretty big, but that personally wasn’t an issue since she was born a huge baby, and it’s atop a dresser so the demensions weren’t important (although it may be for anyone with a table to fit it into) I was hesitant on the price but figured it’d be worth it for the practicality safety and unique aesthetics. Plus, it was cheaper than another similar one from a higher-end brand I’d considered. Well I’m disappointed to say the material (which was one of the big selling points for me) is now chaffing with less than three months of use. I’m not sure why since it’s not rubbing against anything, I don’t even wipe that part (the outer top area where it says Bumbo on it), and our room stays very cool. I’ll probably have to replace it if any of the peeling pieces prove to be a safety hazard later, but for now I just covered it since it’s just more annoying than anything. I’m hoping mine is just a rare case. Overall I don’t think I’d recommend it since the main aspect setting it apart from other (much cheaper) alternatives has been the biggest flaw for me.

Other brands are more durable

All good except the pad definitely fads and looks stained. Customer service says it’s normal to yellow and it’s harmless. My keekaroo and skip hop have never yellowed. I would choose these other brands over bumbo.

Pros and cons

Received this off my registry and was so excited.Cons:Huge ugly warning labels printed on both sides. This bothered me so much, it’s an eyesore especially when you’re trying to make the nursery cute.Also it’s a bit cool to the touchSlips on surfaces, not horribly but noticeablePros:Sooo easy to clean!! Slip and slide

This is my least favorite baby time in the two short weeks since I’ve brought my baby home and I regret putting it on my registry. Baby slides all over during every single diaper change even with non slip changing pads under him, which defeats the whole purpose of an easy to wipe changing pad. The material is hard and cold making my baby uncomfortable without a pad underneath him. He is a super chill baby, but he will scream on the pad without something softer underneath him. There is also no way to secure the pad to the top of the dresser which poses a safety risk as he gets bigger. I’m already doing so much laundry with a newborn that washing a regular changing pad cover wouldn’t be a big deal.
