I’m a huge fan of the Burberry Brit perfume, so I was curious to try this in one of my recent subscription boxes. While it isn’t bad, it’s just not for me. It has a floral scent, and I don’t usually care for strong floral notes. I also think it leans a little more on the “mature” side. But it has good lasting power and, while it isn’t my favorite, I can see why someone would enjoy it. Overall, it is a good perfume, it’s just not great for someone who doesn’t like floral scents.

My favorite one is London. From the bottle: the iconic Burberry check fabric wrapped around the glass bottle to the modern, sophisticated, yet fresh and warm scent inside. This is a fruity floral with key notes of dark berries, jasmine and musk- amber. It has gentle top notes of rose and honeysuckle and goes deeper with tiare flowers, jasmine and peony. This also contains some of my favorite Solar notes of Sandlewood, musk and patchouli, which add the subtle warmth that keeps it from being too fruity or floral and give it an elegance that isn’t “stuffy”. This scent reminds me of an old manor house, classy and classic, but slightly down at its heels. It needs repairs, but it is still putting its best face forward. This sensual scent brings me back to crisp, autumn days. The woodsy cedar notes are an absolute perfect complement to any cool day or night. It’s classified as a “floral fruity” scent, but on me, it definitely pulls more of the warm vanilla and cedar notes. The top notes are fruity upon opening, with peach, pear, apricot, black currant, and green apple. The middle notes are more floral with jasmine, moss, and sandalwood. Finally, the base notes (which on me are the most noticeable and last the longest) are a warm inviting vanilla, fresh cedar, and musk. This is such a beautiful fragrance. If you love cedar, you’ll love this!
I recently switched my daily fragrance to Brit with the change of season. Now that it’s Fall, but I live in a hot climate, I like the freshness of the citrus to keep my fragrance lighter, but the sweetness and depth of Brit to be more grounded than my previous summer fragrance. I smell fresh citrus initially, that eventually fades to a sweet almond. The scent lasts through the day for me, but could be refreshed midday. I like the chunky substantial bottle with distinctive Burberry plaid also.
I will admit it this is not my signature scent, I get alot of these testers to try out. I didnt end up repurchasing this one because of the longevity and I have perfumes that I like more. Honest review, this smells sooooo beautiful, like vanilla and musk, very feminine and elegant. The longevity is not that bad to be honest could last you half a day a little bit more but ive had perfumes that last an entire day and you can still smell them on you clothes. This is a bit more subtle, which some people actually like. It is pricey but honestly still more affordable than other brands. I recommend it for sure. I love this perfume but not my absoluteeee favorite
I have been using this perfume for 10 years and have absolutley loved it. I always get compliments with this perfume but the last 2 bottles have been different. The scent is still amazing, but it wears off almost instantly! I have had people tell me that cant smell it on me. This has always been a fragrance that you spary sparingly because its strong, but I can douse myself and still fades away. I have to carry it with me now to reaply. The one I have is not a toilette either.
If you’re a fan of YSL libre, then this might be something up your alley. This was one of my first luxury fragrance purchases and sometimes I forget that I have in my collection. It’s like a huge warm hug in a bottle. This could be potentially someone’s signature scent and I will not be mad at it. This fragrance garners compliments and rightfully so. It’s not an overpowering fragrance, so it is workplace friendly. key notes: vanilla, sugared almond and icy pear

You smell amazing. What perfume are you wearing?” And proceeded to turn to the person sitting near her and said, “doesn’t she smell incredible? Holy.” It’s so warm and cozy, a literal hug in a bottle. I love layering it with a vanilla perfume underneath (like my kayali vanilla) and switching up body lotions as well. I've seen many posts about this fragrance from various websites and the reviews have mostly been amazing, with that I just knew this was going to be a scent I love so I blind bought it. It also has notes I usually love such as amber and a few others. But there's just something about it I don't particularly care for. It's not a horrendous fragrance and it doesn't smell bad but there's nothing special about it in my opinion. I probably will give the bottle away and not use it again it's just a so so scent.
