I received this Burberry product for free from Influenster and Coty in exchange for my honest review. The design of the bottle is stylish and elegant. I dig its angular shape and glass color. Also, I find it a fun and practical idea to make a magnetic cap with embossed monogram on it. Very cool. I found the fragrance itself somewhat predictable but I think it’s quite well rounded. The cedar notes are prominent. Strong woody vibe. Sweeter than the original Burberry Hero. I was not too impressed with the performance of this perfume but I think it’s decent for fall/winter and I will definitely keep using it this season. My wife likes it a lot on me. She thinks it’s rich, masculine, sweet (but not cloying sweet) and very sensual.

This is my new favorite scent beside Dior Sauvage. My wife got me a sample from Macy’s and after first few sprays she decided to buy me a whole bottle. It smells so nice and masculine in my opinion. I wear it after shower and it lasted till the next day. I really like the hints of Cedarwood oils and pine from this perfume. If you are looking for something masculine for your partner then it is the good choice. An intense and invigorating scent for men.

Had him spritz more on a couple hours later and nope, they smell very similar. Good scent, but was confusing... smells clean to me but no vavoom. Could be someone else's vavoom, I just associate it with soap.

Really liked this one. Got a sample from Sephora and found it to be a really lovely woody unisex. The cedar comes through strongly but it doesn't come across like pencil shavings. There's a warmth to it, and maybe you could say some spice, but for me it manages to stay pretty fresh for a woody number. Usually you either get autumn/winter wood scents with a lot of pine or amber, or you get very dry summer wood scents with citrus. This manages to stay bright and light without being dry or citrusy, but retains a woody warmth without being heavy or cloying. All around crowd pleaser.

Elegant New Men's Cologne

I am a guy that's purchased cologne many many many times since the late 80s. Cologne was far from my mind when shopping Macy’s a couple weeks ago, but a nice lady approached me and asked that I smell the new Burberry Hero. I let her spray some on my wrist and told her I'd be back if it agreed with my pH. I let this fragrance settle and did not rub it into my skin… the first mistake people make with colognes and perfumes. After at least a half hour it settled very nicely. I got a hint of Burberry London with this scent… which is a fragrance I purchased when it was first released. I was so impressed with this light, yet woodsy and masculine scent that I had to buy it. Underrated!

This is a very underrated fragrance from Burberry. If you love woody scents then you should get your nose on this. This a a versatile fragrance that can be worn in all seasons especially the fall season. It's fresh in the opening but quickly becomes spicy and very woody.
