Burberry London Eau De Parfum Spray 30ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I seriously LOVE Burberry. I have scarfs, hair accessories, bags, clothes, makeup, jewelry shoes and my ultimate: a trench coat. So, of course I’m going to have their fragrances. My favorite one is London. From the bottle: the iconic Burberry check fabric wrapped around the glass bottle to the modern, sophisticated, yet fresh and warm scent inside. This is a fruity floral with key notes of dark berries, jasmine and musk- amber. It has gentle top notes of rose and honeysuckle and goes deeper with tiare flowers, jasmine and peony. This also contains some of my favorite Solar notes of Sandlewood, musk and patchouli, which add the subtle warmth that keeps it from being too fruity or floral and give it an elegance that isn’t “stuffy”. I highly recommend this beautiful fragrance- I think it’s completely underrated.

This sensual scent brings me back to crisp, autumn days. The woodsy cedar notes are an absolute perfect complement to any cool day or night. It’s classified as a “floral fruity” scent, but on me, it definitely pulls more of the warm vanilla and cedar notes. The top notes are fruity upon opening, with peach, pear, apricot, black currant, and green apple. The middle notes are more floral with jasmine, moss, and sandalwood. Finally, the base notes (which on me are the most noticeable and last the longest) are a warm inviting vanilla, fresh cedar, and musk. This is such a beautiful fragrance. If you love cedar, you’ll love this!

"London Bottled" I LOVE this guy! It is no coincidence that we speak so well of this wonder and why it is in many of our collections. The base of the aroma; Tobacco and Cinnamon. (I take to remember that the tobacco itself is not sweet). These notes combine harmoniously with each other, especially with the leather. The "sweet" feeling that emanates from the fragrance is not cloying or annoying at all. I feel a woody / bitter / vanilla odor, surely it is due the gaiac tree that grows in Paraguay and Argentina, because of from its wood are obtained notes like vanilla for use in perfumery. The "bitter" I deduce is either the opoponax, as I read ("this substance is obtained from the sap of plants and has a strong aromatic smell ... bitter and acrid taste"). Burberry London is such a gorgeous fragrance! It's bright and feminine, uplifting and lasts well. Juicy, fruity and flowery without being too fruity or too flowery. And it's got a beautiful fun sweetness without being sugary, without being gourmand, and is absolutely not cloying.It's a happy go lucky fragrance.I have it and love it so much I bought it for my niece who also loves it.I think Burberry London is a safe blind buy for a feminine fruity floral summer/spring fragrance. A crowd pleaser with real character and uniqueness.Definitely safe to buy for a woman with a bright youthful personality

I first owned burberry touch maybe 8 or 9 years ago. It was ok then but i was in love with abercrombie fitch fierce and gucci pour homme ll so i used burberry touch for my everyday use and saved the other two for special occasions.i started back into fragrances about 2 years ago and i recently bought Touch again.this time around i appreciate it more. I dont use it like i used to i save it now. Its more fall winter season. Its pretty linear in a way but it does change up some too. The opening is peppery and floral to me. Its stay that way until the woody notes kick in then it get a little sweeter but still floral and only slightly peppery but u still notice spice in there.the longevity is good and the sillage is very good. White florals are the hardest notes to balance in a perfume without smelling like babywipes or cheap air freshener in a gas station bathroom. It's all about BALANCE, and it takes a lot of practice to master. There are billions of white floral perfumes out there, but few can actually master florals and musk. Lots of perfumists carelessly slap on sandalwood to tame the pukeyness of pure florals, but if there's too much sandalwood it just smells like soap. Musk is another tactic a lot of perfumists use to tone down the other scents, but if you have too much musk it can smell like men's cologne or straight up powder.Burberry London nailed it, and I'm surprised this perfume isn't as popular as Chanel No 5 (which is downright awful and granny babywipish IMO). The floral element is there but it's got a nice "checks & balances" system of it's own. The jasmine, honeysuckle, is perfectly tamed by the musk and sandalwood in this case. There is also clementine, which adds just a TOUCH of fresh citrusness without smelling sweaty like pure citrus perfumes do. Patchouli helps keep the intensity without being hippie/incense.The strongest floral in this perfume is the honeysuckle, and after a few hours of wear I can catch a whiff of actual honey. Now, the only downside to this is that after you've been out and about honey scents start to oxidize into a rotten scent that almost smells like soy sauce.Nevertheless, the overall picture of Burberry London is good. For those of you who need a poetic description: think classy girls wearing trench coats on a sexy London or New York City night (stereotypical elegant London that we fantasize about, that is). This perfume can easily be classified as fresh, floral, or musky. It's all of those. More on the cool side than the warm side.Similar scents (but by no means identical): YSL Libre (more vampy, citrusy and fresh than Burberry) and Michael by Michael Kors (warmer, spicier than Burberry with a stronger kick to the nose)

When I figured out it was London and read reviews, I decided to buy it still, because the price was just so great. I tried it as soon as I got in the car from picking it up. Upon first spray, i really liked it. It’s fresh, floral, sweet, and musky. I wore it for the next week and started not liking it as much, but part of that was because it smelled slightly different almost every day I wore it. It’s nice, but it’s just a like compared to London, which is a love. I’m now really interested in trying more Burberry fragrances. As another reviewer said, they are really underrated in today’s perfume world.
