Beautiful trench coat. However the way it was shipped and delivered was disappointing. The trench was shipped in a big brown box with cheap clear plastic trench coat cover. Overall it wasn’t looking neat or expensive because it had wrinkles all over the trench. I will think twice before buying from Neiman.

The style is great. The craftsmanship and cut are quality but the jacket is VERY lightweight due to NO interior lining except in the hood. The fabric itself doesn't look or feel like the best quality either. The combination of flimsy material and no inner lining made me choose to exchange for almost identical product but in a different color, (dark olive only choice) and with traditional Burberry interior lining, (Item #5807386). This was gift for my teenage daughter. She is petite at exactly 5', 100 lbs with large bust and the size 0 fit her perfectly.

I read the reviews before purchasing knowing that there would be no lining on the coat except for the hood. Although that is the case I still think it is a very nice trench coat for the rainy days. It feels well made and the material is very satiny. I probably wouldn’t have gotten it if I had to pay full price, so I’m glad I got it when it got marked down. So far I’m very happy with my purchase.

It’s very confusing that this jacket is navy because on Burberry’s website they only sell tan & black. I was hoping that it was mislabeled as midnight but was actually black. Nope, it’s that dark shade of navy that almost looks black. I’m a dress size 00/0 & size 2 is really small, very narrow in the shoulders. It would be impossible to wear a sweater under the coat & move my arms. Order 2 sizes up for a wearable fit.
Beautiful quality jacket but too tight in the shoulders, even on my small frame. Size at least 1 size up, or 2 sizes up if you want to layer with sweater underneath. Removed 1 star for not not fitting true to size.
This coat looks great. This is totally lined. A lined piece means high quality vs a non lined piece is cheaply made. When it comes to sizing, these Burberry pieces are very tricky to fit. I am a 00 to 2 and I ordered 3 different sizes (0, 2, and 4) and 3 different styles because most of the photos do not show if the piece is lined or if the piece is totally lined and I do not trust the Nordstrom description because it is mostly wrong. Sizes 0, 2, and 4 are not going to fit or be comfortable and I am unable to layer it with a ticker sweater, also it is tight on the shoulders and this means the garment will reap soon on that area plus is very uncomfortable. This is a very fitted trench coat. It's so beautiful and you will look so polished if it's buttoned up due to the slim fit. However, the sizing runs small. I am an 8 US in this coat, a 6 US in the Kensington and this sz 8 is not roomy enough for me. Shoulders aren't relaxed so if you want to wear a thicker sweater or you want free movement on your shoulders/armpit when you reach for something or when you put your arms up, size up. I live in California where we really don't need thick sweaters so I can use this with just a top or a cashmere sweater underneath.
I was totally nervous about spending so much on this trench coat. But let me tell you it is perfect! Perfect color of black, perfect light weight and perfect fit. I’m always a perfect 4 in everything I wear but I sized up on this coat after doing a lot of researching. Super classy:)
I've been lusting after this coat for many years and finally took the leap! It is SO good!! The quality is impeccable and I feel great every time I wear it. This is a classic wardrobe staple and I know I will have it forever. I took my regular size based on Burberry's sizing and feel it fits true to size. I had to get the arm length shortened and the Nordstrom alteration department made it perfect!
This coat is well lined and quite longer on me than on the model. I am 5’3”/132 lbs. I usually wear size 4 to 6. I am a bit broad shouldered from weight lifting. I purchased a 6 and had to return it for an 8. The size 8 fits well, but the length hits under my knees. Looks fine but a length option should be provided and the body measurements description should be more detailed to avoid the return issue.
