Burt's Bees Squeezy Tinted Lip Balm - Mandarin Granita

Love these balms as well. They feel amazing on my lips, very nourishing and hydrating. Also look good on the lips, smooth and slightly glossy. Not super long lasting but they're not meant to be since they're just a tinted lip balm. Not in love with the packaging due to it being a bit messy but it is functional and isn't the worst I've seen. Watermelon Rush & Berry Sorbet are my two favourite shades. I've been switching between the two on a daily basis. Highly recommend if you don't mind the packaging.

AMAZING for lips PERFECT for kiss

Creamy and lovely

I ordered both Watermelon Rush and Berry Sorbet for a curbside pickup, because I wasn’t 100% certain which would look best on my skin tone (and Target is running a promotion that was like getting one of these free!). I was needlessly concerned about the products’ health / security; they had a foil seal and were vacuum packed. The thing to note (as can be seen in my photo) is that you should put your finger on top of the balm the first time you squeeze it out. The balm was smoothly packed under the foil, but when I gently squeezed the tube, it made a pressurized pop sound and about 1cm was wasted on my counter. The balm itself is a great texture. I was pleasantly surprised. None of that sticky cheap feeling some lip balms have. Don't Even Use if it's Free!

I got this as a much-appreciated Christmas gift, and I believe a sufficient amount of time has passed for me to say: I DESPISE whatever this is. I love lip tints, lip stains, balms, what have yous. But this doesn't do anything well. First, let me say that I really don't care how my lip products smell. Some people are picky, I am not. Well, this is horrid. It smells like old, singed plastic, which really disappointed me because I would think Burts Bees would do natural, clean scents well. Also let me say: I most certainly did check the expiration date, and we are still well within it. This came in a holiday pack of all three, and I was so excited!! The packaging was so cute and I love magenta/red tints, stains, and balms. I mixed them together, thinking they may have separated in the heat of a truck or something, and applied them to my lips. The taste is almost as bad as the smell. Again, I don't care about taste either, because it's not an edible product so it shouldn't matter. This is terrible!!! It's nauseatingly goopy and thick, and slides into your mouth when you talk so you have no choice but to taste it. Really, just an awful product. I've never been a big Burts Bees fan anyway, but I do associate them with quality and reputation. This fell soooo flat.

Happiness in a Tube

In terms of tinted/flavored lip products this option is one of my favorites, so this is a happy addition to my collection. (I already have a couple more of these, too, a mix of free samples and tubes I've bought at the drugstore.)The Summer Melon is kind of warm reddish-coral tint, with a nice fruity scent and flavor that's subtle, not overpowering.On the lips it's not too pigmented, but it does add a pinch of color. Plus you could build it up a bit and get more of a glossy effect.The flavor is a bit melon-y and summery.It'd also be nice tapped on cheekbones for a bit of dewiness and a hint of color. I might even try it on my eyelids for a glossy look.You get a really generous amount in the tube, too, at 0.43 oz. for something like $5. I prefer tinted chapstick

I bought these thinking they might be like a blush you could use on either your cheeks or lips. This is definitely not that type of product since the balms are flavored. However, that’s not the reason for the rating.I rated this three stars because it’s just kinda “meh” for a product. The application is messy. You can squeeze some onto your finger and put it on your lips, and then have to wash hands, or you can smear the product directly on your lips from the tube and get the tube tip messy. A little bit of product is more than enough for an application, especially for the darker colors, on my skin tone (very light).The balm melts so well that it’s difficult for me to keep the product where I want it and not stray onto my skin. Messy!!!

I bought this a week ago and have been using it several times daily - I dont know who came up with this packaging idea, but it idea needs to be SIGNIFICANTLY re-worked..... this stuff is like a tube of artist oil paints. There is no applicator..... at....all .You are supposed to squeeze some oily lip product onto your finger, then apply to your lips. This is quite hard to do without getting it all over, wasting a lot and getting a colored greasy fingertip. I love a lip product that I can quickly swipe on a fw times a day without needing a lip brush, mirror and wipe up cloths. Nice product ( although it has a weird fake watermelony smell) . Crappy application system. I will not buy again.

Smells like Fresh Cosmetics cult balm

Ever tried Fresh Cosmetics Sugar Lip Therapy? They have a subtle sweet citrus scent that is to die for, but the price for a tube of Lip Therapy is quite steep at $24. The Squeezy Tinted balm at just $5 in Mandarin Granita smells eerily similar that. I also love that it has a buildable tint and feels very comfortable on the lips. After the product wears off my lips feel more conditioned and moisturized. Really love this. I wish you would make some additional shades with deeper tints.

Squeezy Tinted Lip Balm in "Sweet Peach"

I have fairly pigmented lips so lighter tinted balms usually show color as patchy or streaky but the light nude color from this lip balm looked lovely. Very smooth and even all over, moisturized my lips and smelled nice (no bad taste either). Would love to see more colors added as right now there are very limited options, but a darker raisin shade and more medium tones would be welcome as well.The only reason I gave this four stars is the fiddly packaging. I think if this was put in a little jar maybe with a little scooper included it would be easier applied, maybe a tube with a doe foot/spatula applicator or a softer tip for direct application on lips. Something better than it is now, but keep the formula and add more colors! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing!! This was the first Squeezy Tinted Balm I have purchased and I expected the same product superiority that other BB products provide. I really like the tinted color and the light sheen, but who wants to use their finger to apply lip balm?? When I opened the tube, I thought I accidentally purchased a hand lotion. For the price I am paying I expected it to have an applicator that can be applied straight to the lips. This applicator is so inferior to even cheaply made lip products. Then I came to the website and have read multiple reviews that have been posted over a period of years complaining about the same issue that I just voiced. It doesn't seem as if BB has any interest in listening to consumer's opinions otherwise, ... MoreI wish I had read the reviews before purchasing!!
