I've been using this lip balm for over 10 years... I've probably purchased at least 20 in my lifetime. The quality or the formula has not changed the entire time, as far as I can tell. My favorite color is Red Dahlia, although the Rose is nice too. This is my go-to lip balm. It's not the most moisturizing, but if I need a lip balm, this works just fine. And I have the driest lips ever! The best part is the buildable color. One swipe gives me good moisture and a slight tint. But I can build it on to look more like makeup, and I love this versatility. I usually wear this instead of lipstick. I have a purplish-brownish lip color, which means most colors don't work with me. However this color looks amazing on me. My credit score per credit karma was in the high 500s with a 40% credit utilization rate and a total of about 30k debt. I have about 15k debt that has average 25% apr. Quite moisturizing

Initially, I didn't like the strange lipstick smell mixed with floral pink blossom scent. I still use it anyway and have grown to like it. The tinted shade suits me very well on days without makeup. I like that it made my lips moisturized instantly and for a longer period. However, it doesn't remain moisturized overnight. My lips will feel a little bit dry the next morning. So I only prefer to use this during the daytime instead. Overall, it's still much better than most lip balms in the market.

Tinted lip balm has changed

I have used the Red Dahlia tinted lip balm for years. I had been having problems finding it the past 6 months at retail stores, so I went online and ordered directly from Burt's Bees. I have received 2 orders on auto ship, but just canceled. The lip balm is not the same. I thought maybe it was one stick, but I am on the third one now, and it is definitely not the same. It is slightly sticky now, and there is no hint of a pleasant taste that it has had in the past. Before signing up for auto ship, I had read a review that indicated the balm had changed, but the reply by Burt's Bees was that they had not changed the formula at all. Waste of Money

I'll be honest I really don't like this product. I've bought this lip balm three different times in three different shades and all three times each product had the same problems. This lip balm might as well be a lipstick. I find these lip blams extremely thick and pigmented so much so that when I look in the mirror after applying it I look like a little kid playing with lipstick. Also these lip blams after a few uses get really soft and mash down and get clumps. I also don't find them very moisturizing. I think I've given these lip balms a fair chance considering I tried three and all three were terrible.
