Solid 2L gore-tex pants with mix of taffeta + mesh interior throughout. Like the color which I was iffy on them beforehand, color's a bit muted compared to online photos which I dig...need color for my kids to follow. Size reference: I'm 5'10.5", 189-196lbs depending on week, 34-36 waist depending brand, 37" from bottom of foot to waist. SIZE LARGE Swash's fit perrrrfect. I tried on Medium but I could tell a pound later I'd need to go up to Large, and there is a 1" difference in leg length between the two sizes. With boots I do not even need the "cuff elevator" pull stops. The venting rules on these, can't top it. Side note: Vertical front pockets are easier to unzip on lift to pull phone out, IMO ...so these are, again, perfect. [end rant]

My husband loves these. Windproof, waterproof and even provide warmth even though they?re just a shell pant. These pants are fantastic for athletically built dudes who need more room in the seat and thigh. Make sure to follow the measurements provided in the size guide! Super helpful when comparing to other brands. Ski pants are notoriously slim fitting; these Burtons are a regular/relaxed fit perfect for a rider or skier.

These pants are worth every penny, the first day out, wore them with no base layer at 38-degree temps, and was perfectly comfortable. Love all the pockets. Quality is the absolute best. These are just slightly loose on me, I'm 6ft 235 and 38" waist, I bought an XL and I wear an elastic belt with them just to make sure they stay up. They are roomy and great fitting with plenty of space to wear a base layer and even a thin fleece pant over a base underneath if need be on a cold day. I love these pants. The venting is great for when the temps rise in the afternoons.

The fit is very baggy. Extremely comfortable. The inner vent leg zippers broke the 1st day. I expected more from the product. This is my second pair and my first pair has served me well for about 5 years.
Typically not so much a fan of insulated outerwear, this kit was the Burton AK GORE-TEX Swash jacket and pant was the go-to resort kit for 2020/21. At 5'7" and 168lbs, the medium pant fits perfectly in the waist, legs, and more or less length. You could certainly get away with or without base layer bottoms, depending on the day. I'd typically ride with compression leggings and always be plenty warm, even on chillier days. The insulation is comfortable and not overdone, so the pants keep you warm when you need it, but still breathe well, and move easily, so you never feel stiff while riding. With two hand pockets, two thigh pockets, and two back pockets you'll never be hurting for storage. I have the Solution Dyed Light Grey and they look amazing, especially paired ... I have the Solution Dyed Light Grey and they look amazing, especially paired with the jacket if you're into the monochromatic look; and looking like a spaceman, which I kind of do. As a skier, I'd love to see these with a kick patch, as I did get a couple of tiny cuts on the inside of the legs at the bottom, but they held up surprisingly well throughout the season. And for a light kit, it stayed surprisingly clean throughout the season. While storm days in this kit were minimal, the GORE-TEX held up to the elements, never wetting through, and protected against the elements - wind, snow, and cold temps. Snag yourself the AK GORE-TEX Swash Pant and you'll look great, feel great, and ride great.
I had been eyeing up the Burton AK line up for a while and for Christmas my wife got me these pants. I was really excited and wanted to love them, and in some ways I do, others I do not. As for the fit, pretty decent, they're good in the hips and seat but a little loose in the waist, legs are good. Not a big deal with a belt, if I was strictly using these in bounds I could maybe size down to a L but I need the hip room touring and boot packing. They're honestly very comfortable. They gave a crotch vent with mesh and hip vents without so it's easy to regulate overheating in them. It has plenty of pockets to fill to your packrat hearts desire. Underrated feature is the loop in the back thatb pulls the cuff up so your don't drag it on the ground and wear out the material. Zips on the boot are nice but no snap, in my experience the zipper will corrode and break so I wish it had a snap but it's very minor. Waterproofing wise these are great, as they should be, no issues, if it's dumping these are your answer. If my experience ended here 5 stars all day. My biggest disappointment is durability, and for the price I expect bomb proof, but like most gortex these are just average durability at best unfortunately. After a month there's signs of wear in multiple places and a smack from a branch scarred and put holes in the leg. I mean, it's an impact so I gotta take responsibility but, man, I've taken so much worse than that in so many other pieces of outerwear with not even a mark. These are great and will serve you well in the resort, I don't think they'll hold up in the backcountry though. Disappointing for something called AK. Your milage may vary, I'm pretty hard on stuff. If they had been half the price I would say 5 stars, but for the price they need to hold up to so much more than they do in my opinion.
It's robust and tough. The fit is the issue I have with these. Compared to the Hover Pro in the same size (L), the Swash is slimmer narrow in the waist and much more narrow throughout the butt-to-thigh sections. I don't like that tightness because I like to get really low and not be restricted. I tried the XL and those were way to large... not even a chance I would wear those. I felt like the L to XL was more like M to XL.
I got these pants to switch it up. I usually use the overalls but wanted to try the pants. These fit a little loose but I have bought an atlas belt that fits perfectly with them. I like the baggier look as well as the range of motion in them. They have a lot of zippers for storage and ventilation
I have been ridin' since the early 90's, I have a Burton AK jacket I bought it 2001 that is still in tip top condition. These size large like most snowboard pants. I believe they are meant to be worn up over your hip. If I wear them below my hips like I wear my jeans they are way to big and long. Same goes for my Volcom Guch pants, I use a belt with both as well.
Made with Strong material, the cargo pockets angle is great. I like my things in my cargos on the outer sides of legs. this way when I bend legs my pants can move MUCH better. its hard to find well thought pants and jackets, but you will not regret buying these pants. I lil pricey but worth every Penney when ur out there ripping . IM RUNNING THE Burton GORE-TEX 2L Banshey Jacket , and it awesome in many ways too.
