Burton AK Tech Gloves Blue XL Man

(23 reviews)

Believe it or not, the Burton [ak] Tech Gloves are actually quite tech despite their clean, low-profile look. Waterproof and breathable DRYRIDE Softshell fabric, a rugged Gnar Guard genuine leather palm, and an insulating and quick-drying fixed fleece lining make this glove a snowboarder's best friend. They were Jake Burton's standby for his tours up Stowe before work and Mikey Rencz runs them for everything from snowmobiling to sunny spring riding. At the team's request, the extended length Storm Cuff offers better tuck and coverage underneath your jacket's sleeves. Screen Grab leather on the thumb and index finger lets you text 'til your battery goes red, not your hands.

Amazing Glove

One of the most comfortable, pliable, warm gloves I have had. I may buy another color way later. Very low profile. Rode the park and pow today and never missed a grab and hands stayed warm.

Best spring gloves out there.

Know what you're buying, these are not going to keep your digits warm on those 30deg days. These are perfect for those high 40deg days and up. I snowboard in Southern California and these are perfect for early season late season riding. Pair with your favorite hoodie and you're good to go.

Great gloves not too bulky and not too thin

Great gloves! Keep my fingers and hands toasty on sunny and cloudy mountain days.

I would not buy again to use for snow sports.
13 January 2020

There were rated by others users as very warm and kept hands dry, gloves and well they were until you actually used them in snow and they got wet. Then you were left with cold wet hands the rest of the day. I didn't think to pack back up gloves and well Lessoned learned.

These are very nice soft-shell gloves with good dexterity and warm. Great for every day use.

Great gloves! I was looking for gloves that were not too bulky but still warm. These are great.

Solid Glove, E-tip does not work.
19 February 2021

I have taken these gloves out on several tours and they are great for that purpose! They keep my hands warm enough in temps down to 25 and breathe relatively well. They are thin enough to allow great dexterity during transitions and when getting things from your pack. Construction is solid, but the e-tip functionality is poor, so much so its not worth even trying to use your device without removing the gloves. All in all great gloves, but there are other options that seem just as good for less money, without e-tip function.

Spring or "Hot runner" gloves
7 February 2022

I bought them as a lighter glove since I usually run pretty hot and needed a lighter glove since I was tired to have to take my bulky gloves every time I got to the chair line cause of temperature, also for warmer sunnier days. Very comfortable, nice inside liner. As a light "softshell" glove they won't be as waterproof as a full leather glove of course but as a softshell one they do a wonderful job.
