Was recommended these in store and forgot to change to standard when changed mind about board. MSC helped me out and simple swap out for the standard which are basically the same. Easy to fit, simple adjustments and highly recommend for the cost.

I'm about 6'5" and wear a size 13 boot. I have yet to find a better binding than the Burton Cartel to fit my massive boots. They're comfortable, easy to use, and make life so much better!

Great Burton binding with amazing value!!! I bought these bindings when I upgraded my existing board. I bought a flying V so I needed the EST bindings. Overall I am impressed. The buckles are strong, easy to connect, and the adjustment is a breeze. I highly recommend these!
I didn’t understand the EST thing? They don’t suit my board or my daughter’s. Your staff are great and returned my email. I’ve posted them back, it’s costed over $50 I don’t know about online shopping. That $50 could have been a good upgrade!
These bindings are super high quality! I had to buy new bindings mid season because my arbor bindings broke. Nothing against arbor, this particular pair of bindings I bought just weren't the best. But these Burton cartel bindings feel great. There aren't any pressure points on my feet and they are super responsive.
It had been 16 years since I had a Burton setup, but I had cartels prior years back. The EST system had me skeptical.....the fact that they bolt down on the sides and have no discs was very foreign to me. Got the EST Cartels with a Free Thinker. And holy moly does this board hard charge. The binding is the perfect combination of stiff/responsive and flexy/tweaky. I'm a believer now....the EST system really works. If any con at all.....I feel like there is more chatter under my feet than a traditional binding with disc plates. But I love the board feel this binding promotes. Burton for the win.
This is my first set of Burton bindings on the Channel system and I really like them so far. Easy to adjust with good board feel. They shipped free and arrived quickly.
These bindings were made for any board that has The Channel installation system. I would recommend them if you have such a board.I used re-flex discs with disc bindings and they would get loose and move while riding. Also, you may rip your bindings out, I say may, as discs were not specifically made for channel boards.Overall, these EST Cartel bindings are great, are heavy duty and customizable.I purchased in Mens medium, and have a size 10 foot. These are very robust, and should last at least a while.I highly recommend them if you are all-mountain, with park I would recommend softer straps that have a little give, so you could have these and swap the straps out if needed.
I don't know why there is mixed stuff out there on the EST system (knock on wood). The hardware that comes with these seems just as sturdy as any other binding Ive ridden (maybe more so). Plus versatility of the EST bindings does not even compare to traditional bindings. The cartels are super comfortable to ride in and the ankle strap quick release is super nice at the top and the bottom of the hill. Some people mentioned the flexibility of the ankle strap being a issue on these cartels; 1st hand I have not experienced that and don't see how that would ever really become a issue unless you some how managed to hold your unstrapped binding higher than the strapped in binding on the chair lift. Couldn't be happier with these and would highly recommend to anyone trying ... MoreI don't know why there is mixed stuff out there on the EST system (knock on wood).
