I haven't tried a lot of bibs through my years of riding, but I was getting tired of pants digging into my hips and snow into my hoodie. And one day I had enough.Luckily I came by this from Burton. It has a nice loose tapered fit to it, so it's right smack in the middle of slim and loose fit. I have gotten to test this on one of the coldest days this year and I wasn't cold at all, even tho this is a shell bib with no insulation. The Gore-Tex in it works really nice as well, keeping me dry and comfy. This bib works as good in the park as it does in the pow on those heavy snow days. And since it is a bib, you don't have to worry about snow getting everywhere when you crash.

Loved this bib. Amazing features, pockets, fit. Everything. Survived ice coast windchill this past winter letting me ride through -10 comfortably. But man did I get some QC issues. Small tears on the seat and ankles. Ripped one of the seams on the back pocket. Small hole on the inner pocket liner. All from a single season of riding. Considering this was my first season learning to snowboard I really don't think I went hard enough to damage them from normal riding... Was on groomers all season, no BC.But these were so good I'm probably returning them to REI and buying a second pair to gamble on the QC

Awesome snow bibs! Really love these, and they are by far my favorite!! I also have the north face freedom bibs, and a pair of Columbia pants, and the Burton bibs are night and day to the others, and very stylish! I paired mine with the Burton AK Helitak Jacket in True black and they really go together nicely, and I get lots of compliments out on the mountain! I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for very warm, and waterproof bibs!Very good size as well! I am the tall and skinny body type and find most things feel baggy on me, these feel and fit just right for me!

These bibs are exactly what I was looking for. Wanted more of a shell style bib that I could layer under to meet the needs for different levels of cold. These are advertised to be "insulated" but it is minimal which I am happy about.I am 6'2" 205 lbs athletic build and the large fit perfect with plenty of room to layer and plenty of adjustment in the shoulder straps. Plenty of length without feeling too baggy. I was concerned about these being too much of a "relaxed" fit after seeing the models on the website but they are just wearing a size larger than needed. Chest pockets are perfect size and the left one has access for wired earbuds. Back pockets have a velcro flap as well as another layer of velcro which keeps the pocket closed even when flap is raised.
Fits great, very comfortable, keeps you nice and dry, and has tons of pockets which we love. (My favorites are the ones in the chest, it's easy access when sitting down and my hip pockets are tough to get to) I got the the violet/grey color which I love and which was very hard to find in other stores/sites so grateful to Evo for having it in stock. It's not *super* warm but when it comes to snow pants I'm more concerned with being waterproof and I like to add warmer layers underneath if I need, especially with those warm days on the east coast ski mountains.Only issue I had was one time there was some mechanical water drip or something from a chairlift that stained the pants and the rusty-looking stain has been tough to get out. Feel like that's more a problem ... MoreFits great, very comfortable, keeps you nice and dry, and has tons of pockets which we love. I have worn these bibs for about 10s so far in the 2022-23 season. These are a very stretchy and comfortable gore-tex material. There are air vents in between the thighs and outside of the thighs. About six pockets, two on the chest, one on each hip, and one on the thighs (could be a tan low but I haven't used them).I will say these bids are a hybrid between a shell and an insulated bid. I would consider these as like a lightweight bib if that makes sense.I would recommend this bib to anyone in the market. They are a tad bit pricey but these seem to be a competitor to the Burton AK bibs. With that thought these are a bit cheaper with many of the same features.
I have only recently purchased these and have yet to test them out on the Mountain. So I can only speak to fit - hence the 4 stars.I am 6' 1", 195lbs. These fit great. They aren't too loose or too tight, but flexible enough to have room to expand with my growing gut. Crotch area wasn't too low or too high. The pockets are all in the right spots for easy access. The straps make adjustments quick and easy, though this is the part I'm worried about most is with the velcro - but we'll see! I appreciate the metal hooks on the gaters. While they are a shell, I've a feeling these are gonna be great with a single base layer. But will still breathe enough when warm for back country splitboarding.
I bought these for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and here is his review! These have been great to throw on and head out in the snow or when it’s just cold or wet out in the winter. The fit is good in that you’ve got enough room to move, but they’re not overly baggy and in the way. Warm with layers and enough vents for when you start to move and heat up. Pockets where you want them and the front half zip is super convenient for when nature calls. Will update after snowboard trip!
As a tall guy (6'4"), it's hard to find a good fitting bib, so when I found this in medium/tall, I decided to give it a try. I loved the fit, all the pockets, and the insulation was just right with a thin base layer underneath. However, while wearing them on a snowy day, I quickly realized that the waterproofing was not even good enough to keep my behind dry on the lift, let alone if I had to sit down to strap on my board. On my second outing, I wore a Goretex layer underneath to keep the water from getting to me, but that ended up being ridiculously too warm. So, sadly, I returned them. If conditions are such that the weak waterproofing won't be an issue for you, go for this bib... I think you'll love it.
This bib is drip... ok why I will buy this bib over the more expensive AK cyclic, both are goretex, but the the Reserve bib face fabric is made from Polyester( which is tougher and repels water better and dries faster), whereas AK cyclic face is made from Nylon which gives you the "higher" quality softer feel. Other than that no other difference I can find between both. So for me this Reserve goretex bib offers way better value. I got 2 one for myself and my son who loves smashing through trees and carving low, Polyester face with goretex will last a lot longer .... So do it.
