Step On is great for an old fat dude like me. Didn't realise how much effort I was using constantly bending over to do up bindings. The left boot initially put a bit of pressure on
my left little toe, right where the clip is. But that eased off after a couple of days. All good after 5 days.

I was impressed that Melbourne Snowboards sent these so quickly and they arrived in excellent condition. I think however that Burton should make the Ruler boot in a wide
fitting, as well as provide an ankle dial for it too. I had to remove the hairworms, as always with everything, from the linings. Regards.

I got the sizing with the regular Rulers and then thought I'd be fine with the Step On versions because they should basically be the same shoe right? No they're not. They're
extremely tight to the point where it gets uncomfortable after 30 minutes. I wanted to switch it out with the 8.5s, but the employee there was an absolute bloke and just would
not let me walk away with the 8.5s. He kept swearing that after a heat mold and the hydraulic press, my feet would feel comfortable.Turns out he's wrong. I want to get these
shoes off immediately and the guy at the store wasted about 2 hours of my time. Not only that, the size I need is sold out now. Thanks REI.Shoutout to the other d... Show more

Good basic step on boots
15 February 2022
Nothing to write home about with these boots. They're Burtons most basic step on boots, with BOA. They have a good amount of flex in them so mobility isn't an issue. They stay nice and warm. They aren't uncomfortable. I wear pretty close to true in size, (I wear 10-10.5 in shoes, 10.5 in these boots) If you can, spring for something with Dual BOA. Single makes parts of the boots feel inconsistently tighter and looser in some areas.... Show more

Good Boot But Beware!
25 March 2023
These boots are super comfy, And I do recommend them. BUTTTT they DO NOT fit women's bindings. You HAVE to buy men's bindings if you buy men's boots. The hook in the front is in a completely different location. I bought these because they didn't have my size in women's. No big deal, right? Burton Ste[p-on's are Burton Step-on's. WRONG!! It's not even close. With that said, I LOVE my Step-on's and these boots are very comfortable. So I do recommend them. However, it should say somewhere that they are not cross compatible.... Show more

Great boot! Order a full size up though
1 March 2022
I am just a casual rider, but I finally took the (expensive) plunge and invested in Burton step on boots and bindings, and I am never going back. This will transform your experience. SO much of my middle age rapid exhaustion on the slopes is because of the incessant up and down required with strap bindings, not to mention my frequent wiping out off the lifts (don't judge). It took just a little getting used to, but this binding set up gives you so much more control and feel while riding, coming off the lifts, and getting on and off the board. You also don't have to drag the board with one leg through the lift line, which is amazing. The men's size 10 boot will fit on the women's large step on binding. Hail to all the moms who ride??... Great boots
18 April 2022
Super great boots. Personally I like reletively soft boot, I do park and all mountain, hit (double and even triple) diamond, side hits, natural dorp/jumps, grabing 180/360s on midium jumps. Basically I do every thing. The ruler boots are great, they provide enough response on the slopes and when loose them a little bit they give me tolerance in park. The best thing I like is I just need a step and push a little after getting off the lift before start riding.... Show more

Much Improved Product
27 January 2023
I was skeptical of getting the Boa system only because I went boarding with another person one time and the lace tore out of the eyelet and there was no repair for this. I have only used them once thus far and they did the job well. This is my second set of Burton boots, fourth pair of snowboard boots. I was extremely satisfied with the new step-on system.... Quick and secure.
25 January 2023
I was skeptical about this at first but after trying them, I love them. They are so much quicker than strapping in normal boots and bindings. I can just click in and go. They are definitely stiff enough to have total control and have no play in them, they are completely secure.... Show more
