Since I purchased this in July, I have not had a chance to wear my new jacket. I live in CT and needed a very warm jacket for walking my golden retriever. My daughter-in-law who lives in VT and is very sporty recommended this jacket as the warmest she's ever had. I did try my new jacket on and it did indeed seem that it will keep me toasty warm this winter. Of course "the proof is in the pudding". It does seem well made. However, I agree with others that at least one of the inside pockets should have a zipper on it.

I love the fit and look of this jacket. As previous reviewers stated it fits a bit big so lots of room for base/secondary layers but still very flattering. Lots of pockets, pit zips (which are rare on a jacket such as this) and very warm. Haven’t had issues with rain or mass sweating yet to see the down sides of down so for now I am very pleased. I gave it 4 stars for this reason.

Loved the look of this jacket, but when stretching my arms forward or swinging them around, the shoulder seams are very restricting compared to the other down jacket I tried.

I've worn this jacket a few times and find it very light and a great shape. The length is great too, it doesn't go mid thigh but it just long enough to cover the back side. I'm normally between sizes, a small and a medium but in this jacket, the small fits very well with some room. I love that the pockets have zippers and zippers are found under the arms.
Ultimately I had to return because it was too small across the chest, and quite big through the bottom half. Loved the features of this jacket - especially the pit zips. It was super lightweight, great length in the body and sleeves.Really wish it fit me! For reference I am 5'8" 155lbs 38D, I ordered a Large. I would say it runs small in the top half and large on the lower half.
This jacket is a shiny, deep navy colour that is really nice. It fits on the bigger side (I am usually a small or an xs and the small was too big). I liked it but ultimately returned it because I was looking for something more substantial and warmer. I think it wouldn't be thick enough to keep you warm at temperatures below -5 C.
This 800 fill down layer is super warm and not bulky at all. It runs long probably to accommodate the long length of the burton ak jackets. Which is great for snowboarding! However, don’t try to wear this jacket under another shell as it is much longer. Especially for Arc’teryx jackets.
Have only had this jacket for a week or so, so I can't speak for the durability. But so far, I love it. It is super light, and has a flattering fit for a down jacket. I love that it also has a hood and a high neck, great for those bitter days (which so far we haven't had yet this winter). I am about 5'4'' 120 lbs and got the XS and it fits great. Not too big, not too small. I also love the inner fleece cuffs on the arms.
Super warm and light as a feather (literally!) The camo print is so cute. Perfect as a sole coat in cold dry weather around town. Put a GORE-TEX shell over it and you are prepared for anything. I live in Seattle and the cold can seep into your bones in the late winter months. This coat keeps me warm. I tried on both M and S. The S (small) fit better with plenty of room to layer a thick cashmere sweater underneath. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs.
I always wear more layers than other snowboarders. This jacket did reduce at least one layer from my clothing. It is very light and very warm. The sizing was true to size. There is a zip-off hood that is quite large and it zips up pretty high to ensure a warm neck. There are two zipper side pockets that will hold a cell phone. There are two large inner pockets for goggles, etc. (I would not trust a cell phone in these open pockets;) it would have been nice to have a zipper on one. I like the length of the jacket and is very comfortable.
