I am a shift worker and have been testing these for the past fortnight. I've rolled them into different cone shapes and I've rolled two plugs together to make them larger but still can't block out all the sound. Ive tried to make a decent seal but it took a bit of pushing and prodding and it just seemed to hurt my ear canal.

I really want a reusable earplug but resorted to these as an interim measure whilst my search continues. They are easy to shape and insert after you peel off the cotton wool wrapping. They effectively block noise and feel comfortable in the ear (unlike the foam ones which always annoy me as a side sleeper). The only downside I have discovered is that the plastic case they come in is very hard to open, when I eventually popped it open it sprayed the earplugs all around the room - I now only have 5 plugs the 6th has vanished somewhere beneath the furniture :-( .As always excellent service from Earjobs - quick despatch and free mailing.

This is the third time I have purchased these wax ear plugs after trying about 8 different types of earplugs in the past, including the silicon earplugs. They are super mouldable and give excellent results. I sleep so much better now. I do find that I have to push them back in a couple of times throughout the night as they do lose a bit of their seal, however they rarely fall out. I would probably get about 6 weeks use out of one pair, maybe more?

I have tried many different ear plugs. Most stick part way out of your ears making it easy to remove them but also easy for them to be dislodged during sleep. They are also often uncomfortable to wear especially if you lay on your side. The Earjobs Wax Earplugs mould to your exact ear canal shape meaning that they effectively block out noise while still being easy to remove and do not accidentally dislodge. Best of all you can comfortably sleep in them even if you are on your side. Great very quick despatch and free delivery as well.
I've tried lots of different ear plugs over the years but none work as well as Earjobs. They even drown out the missus' snoring!PERFECT!
This is a softer stickier wax than other commercial brands so if you like wax plugs then you might like these. Not sure what the point of the cotton ball coating is, and it's really hard to get off. Would not necessarily want those little fibres shoved in my ears. Doesn't block nearly as much noise as foam plugs. Uncomfortable pressure when inserting as you're creating an airtight seal - recommend pulling your ear lobe down when you put them in. Generally not as comfortable as you'd think. Also they're scented which I was not expecting. Sort of smell like the pink handsoap you get in a public toilet.
I finally sleep the whole night through with out waking up!! I have very small sensitive ears so most ear plugs i have tried give me horrible ear ache within a couple hours of use.These are comfortable, they do not give me ear ache so good for all night comfort.The cotton around them is also awesome for preventing the wax getting in your hair.They are not sound proof though, and wouldn't recommend for blocking out heavy snoring, or party noise.They are harder and not as comfortable as the silicone ones.
I have a narrow ear canal - normal earplugs do not fit or are painful, no matter how soft they are. The wax earplugs are ideal as I can 'prune' to size. In fact one plug is sufficient for both ears. I highly recommend them for those who have similar anatomical problems as they are extremely comfortable and do not work their way out during the night.
I bought the value pack of 12 Comfy Wax Earplugs after staying with relatives who have noisy neighbours. We recently went camping in a tent for 4 days and were close to a van full of loud males who were up talking till 2:30 am. These earplugs enabled me to have a decent sleep. I could still hear them talking but it was dull enough not to bother me. From now on, I will be taking these earplugs whenever I am staying away from home.
