I am absolutely happy with my purchase I can no longer hear any sounds from outside my favourite white noise is the fan sound. This little unit is so compact and easy to use, the sound quality is excellent it is truly an amazing little machine. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes white noise. Do not bother listening to white noise on your phone it’s not the same.This unit is the real deal, the sounds are so real.

I live in an apartment block where there are often noises that seem to come from nowhere. Anyway, I haven't slept so well in years! I thought it first the loud hum would be disturbing, but not at all. It cuts all those loud noises at night that somehow manage to arrive at the worst moment , ie noisy car in the street, movement of the building lift.

This noise machine is so good. This is the 2nd one I've bought. The first one still works but I made the mistake of taking the electrical cord out of the bottom of the machine every time I took it somewhere. This caused a bit of a short in the wires and sometimes it shuts itself off in the night. Learned my lesson and I will leave the cord attached on the new one. It fits perfectly in the carry container, that I bought separately, without detaching the cord. No more being sick from having the fan blowing on me all night. This machine is worth every cent you pay for it.

After checking some YouTube clips I decided it was probably the best choice for me - it was a toss-up between the LectroFan and the Marpac Dohm fan machine and in the end I decided that the non-mechanical LectroFan might be more reliable in the long term as there were no moving parts.It arrived, and I have been very happy with it as there is one sound which is a perfect replacement for my old box fan - and the LectroFan doesn't make me cold like the fan would now that we are in the middle of winter!. It's tiny, unobtrusive and very easy to operate even in the dark. My only comment to the manufacturers would be to consider including some slightly softer sounds - there is only one which meets my needs and the others would keep me awake as they are quite "sharp" in nature - i.e. very crackly. My purchase has been worth every cent to be able to get back to sleep when I wake up, and now that I am sleeping better my recovery from my various health problems is going a lot better.
