It was my sons birthday present for me & I absolutely love it. Itâs unique & bright smell & I feel citrusy & floral scent which I love all my life whole day. I find it very sexy as well suitable for days wear & nights out. So versatile. Love it.

LOVE, love this fragrance. I have the large perfume bottle and purchased this roll-on for my handbag. Unfortunately, very little product comes out when you roll it...it is hit or miss and sometimes nothing dispenses. I play with it...turn it all different ways...it sometimes works and sometimes does not. I should have returned it for an exchange but didn't. Guess I got a wonky one.

I didnât get the hype around this at first but I just revisited it after a few months and now I get it. Itâs a great every day scent thatâs inoffensive and perfect for work. Fresh, floral and citrusy. Not a perfume that Iâm absolutely in love with but I tend to reach for it on warm days, or before work, when I donât know what else to wear. Great for all ages!

A little backstory I purchase a new fragrance for each trip I take. This scent is super fresh, luxurious and clean. I highly recommend it although It has a high price point. If it was based on purely smell it is 5 stars but the price point brings it down to a 3.
I sampled this a week ago and have since gone back and bought a full bottle of it. I originally was looking for something clean, with linen and floral tones but after smelling Bal D'afrique I couldn't find anything else as good. It still does definitely smell clean and fresh, but it is more interesting than anything else I smelt. It also doesn't give you that horrible feeling that some perfumes do where they feel like they cling to the back of your throat, its very soft on the nose.
Bal D'afrique is a really fresh citrus that quickly develops into a warm, woody scent. It's super unique and I've never smelled anything quite like it. Yes, Byredo perfumes are definitely an investment but Bal D'afrique makes it worth it with strong longevity (especially compared to more aqua scents like gypsy water) and best of all it gets me compliments every time I wear it!
Apsolutely sublime scent. Perfectly blended with that beautiful sweet lemon, floral and smooth woody smell. This is my signature scent. I have smelt NOTHING like it. It's unique and amazing and I'll always repurchase it. Long lasting and great sillage. Can't go wrong with this amazing perfume.
This is my signature scent if I ever had to say I had one for sure. I haven't smelt ANYTHING like this. I'm not into lemon scents but this is an exception and arguably my favourite perfume out of the approx. 100 perfumes I have in my collection. I'm a fraghead...yes. The lemon in this is sweet and gentle, beautifully blended with the floral and woody notes. Absolutely amazing. Price is jarring and way to high, but I'd purchase again without hesitation because I have to always have it. Gorgeous
Citrusy on initial spray but settles to mellowed amber-musk and forward vetiver on my skin. Iâm fortunate to have one of those skin chemistries that perfumes sits well on and this is very long lasting on my skin 8+ hours. Crowd pleasing an everyday scent and I would recommend this to those that had loud fragrances.
