Byredo - Rose Hand Wash - 450ml

You will love this hand soap if you like the smell of roses obviously but I also love how moisturizing does hand soap is. If you care about sink countertop appeal, then you will definitely like this hand soap. I’ve had guests tell me that this is the best smelling hand soap they ever used. As for me, this is the only hand soap that does not dry up my cuticle area so because of that Reason, I am willing to splurge $65 on it. My personal favorite scent is the Vetiver one but since it was sold out at Nordstrom I opted for the rose one. No complaints, it’s just not my fav scent from the collection. A little goes a long way so I only use about half a pump per wash and it foams up nicely.

Beautiful Luxe Handwash

This is a beautiful handwash and I really enjoy using this (especially in lockdown). It has a wet rose smell and the perfume lingers long after I've finished washing my hands. I've also bought Rose of No Man's Land to complement it which has a very similar slightly more powdery scent. I would describe this is a a woody floral scent, the rose is very mature and heavy but the overall scent isn't overpowering. It really does break up the work from home day and make spending so much time at home a little more bearable. I would recommend this to someone who loves a luxey rose or floral based scent and likes to have the scent linger after washing.

Essence of summer

If like me you love the smell of roses, this is definitely the one for you. The first notes remind me of Rose Turkish Delight, but then the fresher notes come through and as other reviewers say it leaves a subtle scent on your hands for hours. I'm really pleased that it doesn't make your hands dry, unlike the Molton Brown that I used to use. Yes it's an indulgence but you need so little and the bottle is large, I'm certain I'll be using it for months to come.

I enjoy the smell but not the packaging

I was disappointed that the pump wasn’t separate. I just felt like they could have put anything in there because it wasn’t sealed anywhere. It is so pricey to not be a sealed secure item. Unscrew the top very easily. No seal or plastic covering anywhere. And add to that it looked low, not filled to the top. So I won’t be ordering this product ever again. I’m surprised because this did not meet Nordstroms usual high standards.

Indulgent and

OK. Almost $70 for a hand soap? Hard to justify. However, I work as a nurse in a cosmetic surgery practice in NYC and the surgeon's wife stocks this in our patient restroom and at our patient refreshment station. EVERY patient comments how exquisite it is. We now send one home with our patients after their procedures. They seem more excited about the soap than the surgery. Would I personally pay this price for a handsoap? Never. However, I understand why some people do; this is the handwash in heaven!

Love this handwash

Pros:Byredo branding looks amazing in the bathroom! Love how chic and minimal it is.The smell is nice, a little different and definitely lasts.The bottle is big which is good for the price and lasts for ages!Cons: Just that it's a little expensive, but that's the Byredo brand and it definitely lasts!I wish Byredo did more hand wash fragrances, they only have 3/4 and would be nice to have some new ones released.

My fave scent in this handbag line

Rose is so fresh and sweet and gorgeous and the matching lotion is stunning too! I have now replaced all of our Aesop hand wash bottles in our home with Byredo as although they have less product and are a little bit more expensive, they actually last longer as you only need to use a small amount due to its effective formulation. Also, they smell amazing and look fantastic in your home. I do wish that Byredo kept the colored soap, however.

Obsessed with this hand wash!

I actually went in store to sniff the Byredo Suede hand wash, having read that it was amazing on a beauty bloggers page. Instead, I preferred the smell of this Rose hand wash. I absolutely love the fragrance, which smells like posh roses, with a hint of something else which just makes it so nice.The bottle is huge so great value for money as you only need one pump of this hand wash in order to effectively clean your hands. The pump is nice and solid, the bottle looks gorgeous in my bathroom and I have just ordered another bottle ready to replace this when it eventually runs out. I am quite an obsessive hand washer, but this is still just over 1/3 full 6 weeks after I opened it. Smells Great!

I'm really happy with this hand wash! It's a lighter formula than I usually like in a hand wash, but it's hydrating and softening and I've definitely noticed an improvement in my very dry hands since I've started using it. It has a lovely scent (like turkish delight!) and is a really large size, which (somewhat) justifies the price. Like all Byredo products the branding is super sleek and minimal, which I love. Overall I don't think this hand wash is a necessity, but if you want a hydrating hand wash which looks and smells amazing then this is for you. I'll be repurchasing when it runs out!

Terrible company

Small flower customer service is awful. I returned an unused and unopened perfume. I had to pay shipping to return it and then without contacting me they sent it back to me claiming it was opened. I would have shopped here for years for this soap that I also buy here because it’s wonderful, but now they’ve lost a loyal customer.
