Through my previous experiences with other different types of C4s I have tried I thought this one was another great addition! I have recently tried the Icy Blue Razz flavor and I must say it was strong and tasty. I have tried many Icy Blue Razz flavors in the past with Cellucor and they have always been excellent. This one in particular was a little bit chemically but was not difficult to drink but was still great. I have only used 1 serving with 10 oz. of water in my shaker and the mixing was excellent as always. Clean and quick. The flavor is not too sweet or sour, kind of finds a middle road between the two. It is very strongly colored and will leave your tongue blue for a little. I think it is a solid 8 of 10 flavor. In terms of effects, the energy hit quickly and with a moderate intensity. The beta-alanine tingles were incredibly strong for me; I've been accustomed to 1 to 2 gram doses of BA versus 3.2, which likely explains the very strong tingles. My focus was elevated modestly. My workout started off very well. My warm up cardio was awesome, and then I transitioned into some upper body lifts that went well. After that I started to get a little bit chilly and experienced some minor weakness. I think sometime the combination of nitrates, caffeine, and rauwolfia can have that effect on me sometime. It wasn't that big of an issue as I still finished up my workout well. It also didn't start happening until about an hour in. Ultimately, I was pretty happen with C4 Extreme Energy's effects. Energy - 9/10 Focus - 8/10 Performance - 9/10 Overall: 9/10 Flavor - 10/10 Side Effects: Tingles and chills Recommend? Yes

But I did find that while taking this product I had a lower amount of lactic acid build up in my muscles which allowed to get longer, better sets in.Overall I loved this product, I've always enjoyed Cellucors products having taken almost all of their pre-workouts at this point along with their Whey and SuperHD products. But with this product Cellucor has really outdone themselves and produces an extremely solid and well thought out product. I would recommended this product to anybody looking for a pre-workout thats really looking for a huge edge in the gym.

I will be basing my review off a 10gm serving NOT the recommended 6.4 gm on the label. The big deal Nutrabolt is making about this version of C4 is the fact that they didn't use any artificial flavors or coloring and it's not a prop blend so the ingredients are disclosed but it's a weak profile so why the EXTREME ? The powder mixes very well with no foam and just a bit of sediment but really no mixing issues at all. The flavor which is a light refreshing blue raspberry with a hint of lemon at the end with no heavy overly sweet after taste is definitely enjoyable for anyone who likes blue raspberry. The energy at a 10gm dose hit's smoothly but there really isn't anything extreme about it and it just feels like a smooth kick of caffeine. There really isn't any crazy focus, mood boost, and pumps were definitely nothing to yell about so again where does the EXTREME come in. This PW in my opinion at 6.4gm delivering 200mg of caffeine is perfect for caffeine and stimulant sensitive people and that's how it should have been marketed because there are many people out there who are sensitive to caffeine and 200mg is perfect for them but the pump and performance on this is weak. This needs at least 3gm of L-Citrulline or 6gm of Citrulline Malate to work with the nitrates that are in this formula to deliver a better pump. In my opinion there are better options on the market for someone who is sensitive to caffeine where they won't have to add anything to the pre-workout for it to be more effective,

The extreme has the stronger result since it's geared exactly for that but also, just the flavor had an appeal. It still wasn't like that "oh natural raspberry" but for this one, the result was much better than others I have experienced and way better than the fruit punch pre-workout I had over a year ago. I used it before a simple workout so I didn't really need a huge boost but it wasn't over the top either. None of the pre-workouts were that intense, not from the samples at least. It was consumed over a week ago before a mid-morning heavy session at the gym. I didn't get up early but at the dame time, it was earlier in lifting for me than normal and it was a day to attempt heavy deadlifts without consuming much beforehand. The Flavor: Had great flavor. The cherry and lime elements were both present. This one was not the zero, it is ultimate, but even then it's light in the calories. The product has 5 calories per scoop, which is good for those of us doing a cut and needing a boost. I will say that the flavor did have a sweet element that was noticeable right away. The flavor profile was strong and sweet, which is good for me as I'm a fan of sweet for the most part (except maybe watermelon as I do like my sour candy). I consume candy a little too often but that's another story... Either way, I did like this flavor and it is one that I'd consider buying if/when I have funds for a pre-workout. The Result: It didn't amp me up or anything. I'm low key in general so there isn't much of a chance with me getting all hyped up and I consume caffeine enough to have a certain level of tolerance. However, I did feel a boost that day. It was 1 rep max testing and I managed to get the 1 rep deadlift of 265 lbs, which I was very pleased to finally achieve. It had been a goal the peak cycle before but failed then and doing another attempt after trying during a somewhat failed cut cycle was going to be a challenge. I made it and had energy for work afterwards. The site claims the extreme isn't for the casual lifter but I didn't notice an intense result, just enough of boost to keep me going to get through the workout of the day.Flavor - 9/10 Mixability - 9/10 Results - 9/10

As far as being clean, there's no dyes or artificial flavors, which you cannot say for a lot of products. It's also totally transparent on the label, so you know what you're actually consuming. As to the ingredients, the 200mg of caffeine is a nice dose, not too much so as to be too much caffeine in one scoop. There's also Carnosyn for endurance and Nitramax which gives some good pumps. Also, there's a dose of creatine for those looking for convenience giving creatine and a pre-workout as one.
