I have been on the hunt for YEARS for a good neck pillow, and I think I have almost found it with the Cabeau Evolution Cool pillow. I used this on a 15 hour flight from California to Asia, and felt pretty well supported. I did get a kink in my neck for the last 2 hours of sleeping on the flight, which woke me up, but as another reviewer said -- after 12-15 hours anything is bound to fell uncomfortable -- especially if you are sitting in economy class. Below are pros and cons of the pillow:Pro:Neck Support - Really like that it is flat in the back so it doesn't just your head forward when you wear it. This feature sets it apart from neck pillows I have used in the past. It also supports neck relatively well for leaning on right or left side for sleeping right ... MoreI have been on the hunt for YEARS for a good neck pillow, and I think I have almost found it with the Cabeau Evolution Cool pillow. This feature sets it apart from neck pillows I have used in the past. I have used other neck pillows like the TRTL (did NOT work for me at all) that were WAY too hot for me, but this neck pillow did not feel too hot on my neck at all. Temperature-wise it felt just right the entire time I wore it.Carrying Case - Fantastic carrying case that allows you to pack the pillow into a little ball. The carrying case can then be attaching to the external part of your carrying bag. Was perfect because it didn't take up precious space in my carry-on.Ease of taking on and off - Comes with a magnetic closure that is very easy to take on or off.Appearance - A relatively attractive pillow that doesn't make you look TOO crazy when you wear it.Cons:Price - This pillow is a bit pricey...but price to comfort is a "No-Brainer" so that may be a deterrent for some, but as someone who travels quite frequently for work it is worth it for me to get a few hours of shut-eye.Front head support - My neck tends to bob forward when sleeping. Even though this neck pillow is supposed to support your chin I did not find it did a very good job when I had my economy seat all the way sitting up. I still slumped forward a little uncomfortably. However, if I pushed back my set to its full recline then the neck pillow it did its job pretty well.As you can see the pros outweighs the cons! So I would recommend this pillow to anyone who is looking for their "holy grail" pillow for travel!

Truly one of the best travel pillows ever. I love how the wrap around pillow supports my head so sturdily such that my neck isn’t strained when asleep. The support from the brace is designed almost like a neck brace that allows my head to stay up when traveling on a plane or when sleeping while seated. There’s a nice porous middle that allows for air circulation to avoid overheating. There’s an also a nice pouch to store the pillow (compress it down) in so it doesn’t take up too much space when boarding the plane. This will be my go to for all airline travel in the future. Truly a great design and product!

I tried the Cabeau Evolution Cool Memory Foam Travel Neck Pillow and found it to be very compact and comfortable. The cover is 92% polyester, 8% spandex which can be removed and machine washable and dried. The memory foam is 100% polyurethane which can be surface cleaned with a moist cloth. The material of the neck pillow is soft, smooth and has a cooling/wicking feature. You can adjust the tightness and looseness of the neck pillow with the bottom cord loops that slide easily and clasp securely without getting in the way of your neck area.I wore this neck pillow during a 3-hour long car ride as well as a 7-hour plane ride and the pillow kept my head and neck properly aligned. Even when I was asleep, my head didn't tilt over and I experienced a very good rest ... MoreI tried the Cabeau Evolution Cool Memory Foam Travel Neck Pillow and found it to be very compact and comfortable. I was also traveling in warm weather and the material of the neck pillow was light and airy. I didn't overly sweat into the pillow and felt cool during use. The accompanying carry case is a big help in reducing the size of the pillow by almost a half and can be quickly stored in a tote bag or backpack. This is such a useful travel neck pillow and great for the entire family over age 13. I would like to see a way to personalize this pillow so each family member can identify their own pillow. The color I have is a neutral black but other colors and patterns would be welcome.

I'm pretty impressed that this travel pillow actually fits into the travel case, and packs smaller than it looks. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but very cushiony memory foam, and the mesh vents allow air to circulate. There's a toggle so you can adjust the fit in 2 places, and it even comes with an extra set of toggle/strings if you need to replace them. The cover zips on & off, so you can wash it after travelling. It fit in my carry-on tote and didn't take up much room. I'll be using it for longer flights and trips.
I will admit my first impression was, “wow, this thing smells.” I don’t know what it was but the first few days I didn’t like the smell of this thing and had no desire to even try it. But after a few days it stopped smelling and then it was the argument of “who gets to wear this?!” Two of my kids were intrigued, my oldest kept snatching it and wearing it while he chilled out watching tv. They both said it was comfy and felt really cool. I agree. It has a nice chill to it. The front adjusting pieces snaps open so it’s easy to put on and off. It comes with a case (this isn’t meant as a long term storage case). I think it’s pretty neat for what it is. We’ve tried cheaper ones and they aren’t as great. My husband also liked the feel and I’m hoping he will get some good ... MoreI will admit my first impression was, “wow, this thing smells.” I don’t know what it was but the first few days I didn’t like the smell of this thing and had no desire to even try it. First off, this is really expensive, even with inflation. Does the hefty price tag really justify this product? Well, that depends on your needs (how often you travel, how long of a flight each time, are you a sleeper on planes at all, do you sleep hot, etc.), and how many neck pillows you’ve tried and could compare this to. My verdict is yes, for the features and my own needs. I’m 5’1”.There are three main features that I really like about this: 1. the back is flat, 2. I can flip it and rotate it and get all kinds of different comfort positions, and 3. it helps dissipate some heat.1. I can flip it and rotate it and get all kinds of different comfort positions, and 3. it helps dissipate some heat.1. Other than one other product on the market, this is probably the only other one where the back is flat. Now I don’t have to feel like my head is floating off of the plane’s headrest, which is uncomfortable. The only way to make it comfortable is either by leaning against the window, or putting a pillow behind my back to support that extra airspace between my back and the chair.2. I can flip it and rotate it and get all kinds of different comfort positions. What I noticed is that I don’t necessarily have to have this neck pillow on my in just ONE position. In fact, considering it’s shape, this gives like 4+ different positions: upright, upside down, upright and rotate it 180 degrees, upside down and rotate it 180 degrees, and upright/upside down plus rotate it ANY degrees. The two supports on the upright position makes for a REALLY good forward chin-ish rest while covering up your lips so you don’t look like you’re sleep-pouting – but only if you rotate one of the supports to cover up your mouth area. With the two supports upside down, it keeps my head upright even better. It’s just great in all different positions for any scenario. By far the best feature for me.3. It helps dissipate some heat. Is it actually cooling though? Yes, even if slightly. It is by far the only cooling neck pillow on the market so far that allows some steam to escape off your body. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t trap heat, but it traps less heat. I do sleep hot, and when I use this long enough or just wear it long enough, I feel like I need to take it off for a breather. If you don’t sleep hot, well then, you may get lucky with this then.Although it comes with a carry case, I will not opt to use the carrying case because it’s difficult to put the neck pillow into it. Yes, it’s supposed to help compress your neck pillow to make it smaller in your backpack or purse or suitcase, but it took me so long to put it in the case, that I’d rather just clip it onto my bag or hand-carry it on and off the plane. Talking about difficult, the cover is hard to put back on as well. I pretty much had to man-handle this thing to death in order to correctly insert the cover back onto the foam. You try it… You’ll see what I mean.
This neck pillow is so nice! The quality is great and it is made with high quality materials. It is also very durable! It doesn’t fall apart at all even after being used a lot. I love that the pillow is made with memory foam too. It makes it extra comfortable! The sides of the pillow are raised too, so you have more support. The clasp on the pillow is adjustable too which is a nice feature. The best thing about this neck pillow though, are the breathable vents! It makes heat go out of the sides so you don’t sweat really bad! The cover on the pillow is machine washable too which is also a great feature! I highly recommend this neck pillow!
I have mixed feelings about this Evolution Cool neck pillow from Cabeau. I like that you're able to store it into a more convenient size, but I didn't find it the easiest to do. It's not overly difficult, but I needed to use a little maneuvering. The mesh definitely helps with airflow so I never found myself getting too warm. The pillow is certainly made of a dense material and kept my head upright. However, I don't know if it's just ill-fitting for my neck/head, but it felt almost like a neck brace. It was quite stiff. I wouldn't say that it's a total dealbreaker for my future usage though.
Pros:Cover material is super soft and it comes with a zipper so it can be washed (huge plus!)It really is cooling! I often have issues with other travel pillows being too hot (I run hot on a good day!)There are cutouts for headphone wearing which is nice if you like over the ear vs. earbuds.Once I figured out how the "anchors" in the front worked, it was more comfortable to wear. There are small "pegs" on the front that the cord latches on to before snapping together. It wasn't very intuitive but I figured it out.You can turn it around on your neck once snapped to accommodate however you like to sleep (I'm a side neck sleeper on planes!).Comes with a carrying case and a set of earplugs.
