I'm flying Vuehling and didn't have a bag to match the under seat requirements. This is the biggest, best made backpack out there. It also comes in many great colors. Two things to make it perfect. Please add a chest strap. It will help everyone from having this bag slip off the shoulders. I'm attaching an after market one, but it's an overkill and I would like something smaller. Second, add loops at the bottom to attach a hip belt. I'm over 60 and don't have a great back. I would like to transfer the weight to my hips. This would not work for everyone, but I'm also short. I just dropped off my bag at the cobblers to add those loops.

I have been looking for a good personal-size carryon bag for my trips - and I have gone through a lot of bags (from TravelPro bags to small Osprey backpacks to Nike duffels). This bag is great in so many ways and has come the closest to being ideal. It fits under seats, as long as it is not overstuffed (the side belts help make this happen). It has well-padded shoulder straps and is comfortable to carry as a backpack. (it would be better if CabinZero added a waistbelt, even a small one, to help take some of the weight off the shoulders). There is plenty of room inside (I just got back from a 3-day trip to Boston and this was the only bag I brought). The backpack opens completely, providing full access to the contents. It would be easier if CabinZero had provided a way to stow or tie back the shoulder straps so they wouldn't flap around loosely when the bag is being carried away. A mesh pocket for a water bottle would be a nice add as well. But I really like the bag and I expect to be using it a long time.

I already have a military 36L and a flapjack. I decided to get the 28L Classic because I wanted a smaller bag for everyday. I love the size, the colour and the practicality. The only thing I don't like about the classic backpacks is that there is no water bottle pocket. But I guess it's normal because this is sized for minimalist travel and adding that would defeat the purpose in some way.A suggestion would be to add a stretchy or detachable (by velcro for example) slot for a bottle on the inside for when we're not using the bag for travel but for everyday work.Otherwise I love my Classic Backpack.

I waited until my first trip (12-hour, two planes, a long wait at the airport) before reviewing this bag. Overall, it's good so far. The bag is large enough to contain a few of my electronic travelling companions including a small HEPA filter and the outside laptop sleeve is just about big enough to slide in my 14 inch laptop. It's light and the handles look sturdy. The straps felt comfortable when I wore it as a rucksack, although I didn't wear it for long period of times and can't say how good it feels after a few hours. However, there were no lockable sliders on this bag - which would have been very useful, it's a shame as the picture on the website shows them clearly.Re improvements: I would add a proper 'pass through' to carry the bag over the handle of my ... MoreI waited until my first trip (12-hour, two planes, a long wait at the airport) before reviewing this bag. Using the existing straps, even on their tightest setting, over the handle, does not work, the bag kept sliding down. A small hidden pocket accessible from the outside of the bag for valuables would also be very useful. With proper packing, I'm sure this bag can hold a lot and I certainly will make use of it on a regular basis.
I like this pack. I can transport laptop and clothes easily, and it fitted comfortably under the seat on Ryanair.Lightweight, lockable, easy to use. Some things to note:The water bottle holder is narrow, so only a small water bottle will fit.The pack has no airflow for your back, so you might get sweaty. The pack strap to compress the pack is fine, but there should be two to compress the top of the pack and to secure the water bottle.Overall, it's a good pack for travel and everyday use.
I’ve been wanting this bag for a while. I’m glad I finally took the plunge. I have a similar knock-off 21 liter bag that I still love but something about Cabin Zero I was drawn to. My only complaint is the 28 liter tech bag only has two compression straps instead of the four as on the classic Cabin Zero. It would have been nice to have all four. The laptop sleeve is great for my tablet. I don’t carry my laptop with me anymore but it’s a nice feature to have. I love the water bottle pocket on the side, great for the airport and on the go. It holds a 16 ounce or 500ml easily. I haven’t packed out the packing cubes yet but I got two medium size and one large that seem to fit nicely, but packed out we shall see. All in all I’m very pleased and excited to make this my go ... MoreI’ve been wanting this bag for a while. I’m glad I finally took the plunge. Used for one two-week trip so far. Bag seems to be made of strong materials and zippers. The side buckles help keep everything tight and safe. The straps are not particularly comfortable on the shoulders, especially when wearing a tank top and rubbing skin. Would have appreciated better materials there and a cross-chest buckle for wearing heavier weights for long amounts of time, like while traveling on subways. Would have liked a loop on the backside to attach another buckle/loop/etc. Also on the front of the shoulder straps for clipping things while walking around. The laptop sleeve needs to be re-thought. It’s a true pain in airport security. You need to unbuckle and unzip half the bag which can mess up a tightly-packed situation to get the laptop out. It’s a true pain in airport security. You need to unbuckle and unzip half the bag which can mess up a tightly-packed situation to get the laptop out. I think it should be a separate zippered slot between the outside and main compartments that also includes a tablet slot. You could just unbuckle the top two side buckles, unzip that compartment, and get devices in/out. Also the laptop slot should stop like an inch before the bottom of the bag, so the side of the laptop isn’t slamming against the ground. The 4 zippers could be able to be lined up for a lock (but under the buckles you can barely see where zippers are when their tucked in, it’s all pretty secure w/o a lock, it’s well-made in that regard). Beverage holders on the sides would have been great, seems there would be room with the straps fully extended. I ended up putting bag in carryon area every flight anyway. Never went under-seat. I write all that because I really do like the bag. It looks great. I’m sure I will get many good uses out of it. Just some thoughts for some quality-of-life improvements in the future.
Got this on sale together with identically colored Classic Tech 28L and it was interesting to compare these two function wise.Rather spacious backpack thanks to its form and shape, Ive used it twice thus far for couple of local bus trips and I had no problems to stuff it full with items for 3-7 day trips staying in austere environment. I dont plan on babying this or any other of my travel backpacks, they are made for hard use and might see some minor abuse related to usual travelling situations.Build and quality seems OK for the intended use and carrying it stuffed to the brim didnt pose any issues for me, Im about 1.88/6th 2in and I had no issues with either straps nor boxy, frameless shape while carrying it on my back, however its mostly meant to be carried from ... MoreGot this on sale together with identically colored Classic Tech 28L and it was interesting to compare these two function wise.Rather spacious backpack thanks to its form and shape, Ive used it twice thus far for couple of local bus trips and I had no problems to stuff it full with items for 3-7 day trips staying in austere environment. Very odd.Color on our bags is Georgian Khaki, basically lighter khaki, still on the green side, not desert and yet not as light as some online pictures might make you think, its not olive darb/army green deep but its not desert tan either.Overall I bought these two models to get the best bang for the buck when it comes to personal item bags on Ryanair and I think we will be quite satisfied with our two(well, actually 3 since I got us Military 44L in black couple of days ago as well) new additions to our backpack family!
I received it as a gift. I have used it several times and I don't really appreciate it.First of all, there is no external grid on the side to carry on your water bottle or your foldable umbrella. This is an unforgivable mistake from my point of view! Moreover, the zip pocket in the front panel opens only on a side, so it's not very practical when the backpack is standing. You need to put your backpack horizontally to avoid small items falling down when opening the zip. You should have thought of installing a zip that could be open making an inverted L, specially using one of those zips that can open from one side or the other of a zip. This way, it could be easily open in both positions, vertically and horizontally, depending on the owner's use of this frontal ... MoreI received it as a gift. In that case, instead of velcro it would have been better to make a more ergonomic and soft stitched handle. which would have also been more comfortable for your hand when carrying the bag for a long while.
I fly with Ryanair, Wizz Air and Eurowings kinda often so I was looking for a backpack that would allow me to maximize my storage with their strict policy. The problem was that most backpacks just doesnt have the right dimensions - they are either to tall but thin or just small in general.I am happy with 28l Cabinzero Backpack. It is kinda simple backpack but it fits its purpose and allows me to pack as much stuff as possible within limited dimensions.Comfort was ok for me and I like the lightness of backpack. Someone may miss organization compartments but this was something I was happy to miss in exchage for more storage capacity. There is just basic compartment for laptop, two compartments that I used for liquids and charger and front compartment I use for ... MoreI fly with Ryanair, Wizz Air and Eurowings kinda often so I was looking for a backpack that would allow me to maximize my storage with their strict policy.
