Sand only in the direction of the grain Remove all traces of sanding dust. Previously coated interior timber. Thoroughly clean the surface with Cabot’s Floor Clean and allow to dry. Sand with 180 – 240 grit sandpaper and remove all traces of sanding dust. APPLICATION Important – work in a well ventilated area and protect nearby surfaces from overspray. 1. Before spraying, shake can well for about 1 minute, ensuring the mixing ball is moving vigorously inside the can. 2. Hold can approximately 20 cm away from the surface. Apply light coats with a quick even mention, beginning and ending each stroke beyond the surface being sprayed until the desired finish is achieved. Note – For exterior timber a minimum of 4 coats is recommended, depending on porosity of timber. Clear the nozzle after each use by turning the can upside down and spraying for several seconds. After spraying Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges. Also wipe front of nozzle clean. Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turps.
