my very expensive "turtle" readers are mostly plain old brown. I have an old pair with lower magnification that have wonderful marbling in them. Shame these are so blah. Thankful to not have the yellow tinted lens anymore. My last three pairs had the blue light block on them. Hate it. Makes my vision, my eyes and my skin under the lenses look sallow and yellow. What really stinks is I had to pay MORE MONEY to get them WITHOUT the hideous yellow lenses. I have loved all my caddis glasses (I have more than 6 pairs) but I think Im done now. More money to get without the yellow lenses, blah brown frames?

I know readers. I worked at an agency for a competing brand. I always looked to Caddis as an authentic brand, and wished my client would help me find their authenticity. We've parted ways, but Caddis remains as my reading glasses of choice. I have 2 pairs, and love their quality, lenses and solid weight. And they make no apologies for needing them, which is a tact to gracefully aging many fail to recognize. The product is a solid 5, in every way. I get compliments all of the time on these glasses! They are bold and fun, but not so "out there" that I don't feel like myself in them. The progressive lenses are just what I needed for work - finally no more on-again, off-again games with my glasses! I put my Miklos Progressives on when I arrive at the office and they stay on my face all day long. I can read documents, view what's on my computer, and still identify somebody down the hall without having to take my glasses off. Also, I love the fun Port and Starboard stamps on top of each side of the frame š

Pros- frame is great esp for my big head. It is hard to find frames that fit and do not look like I am wearing children glasses. Frames are hefty and not flimsy. Colors are rich in the brown frame and soft in the pink frame. Cons- fit is unpredictable. I have a pair of Mikolos and Porgy. Sometimes the fit is off and I have to exchange them for different pairs. Sometimes the frame is delivered bent. Iām not sure why that happens but itās frustrating because these frames are not cheap. This last pair of the pink frames I just sent back because they were bent and did not fit at all.Thatās why I gave 3 stars. This is my fifth pair of Caddis readers. The quality and style is hands-down The best there is. I love them so much! I have my go to that I carry everywhere with me, I have style options for my various vibes and my most recent purchase of the Miklos in green color coordinates with my kitchen, where they stay since I often trek up the stairs and forget my glasses! (Great excuse, I mean perfectly legitimate āreasonā, to get another pair! Right!?) I canāt wait to find my next āreasonā to purchase next pair! I really wanted reading glasses - Progressives. I spent the $$ and ordered in Matte Bone. I tried them at various points in the day doing different tasks but I could not like them (the progressive line was not as comfortable as my prescription progressive from WB). Customer support was very helpful and I returned and ordered the Matte Bone in regular readers. Matte is no longer available so Polished bone it was. Much better but I don't necessarily like the blue light feature on every task as I need for other tasks other than computer work.

My new frames still have the āportā & āstarboardā engraving and I think I may just see if I can somehow find a way to make the letters look white. This frame design and all the lens features have become like a really good, dependable friend.
I ordered the Miklos reading glasses- they were quality glasses and so comfortable to wear. Unfortunately I have a small face and they would slide down a bit on my nose. I hated to return them but I know I will be ordering a different pair that will fit my face better. Caddis made the return so easy- at 66 years old, making things a little easier is so very much appreciated. If you want an amazing pair of stylish glasses that feel so good on- then Caddis glasses are for you. Thanks Caddis, I will be purchasing another pair of readers soon.
Im a 50something ED nurse and i started with the sunglasses, felt that would be a great try them out pair... i loved them so much that i just bought my 5th pair of clear progressives. I have worn RX glasses for years and "never can i find the right spot to see". These glasses are perfect for starting IVs , reading charts and looking up to review a med administration and all the computer charting. They are great for driving, too! I wear them on my motorcycle and i can see far and near with a small tip of my head! they are heavy bulky chunky fashionable eye wear that is so fun to wear!
