At last, a Thunderbolt 3 dock for the Dell XPS 13 9300 that just works. I first bought a Dell WD19TB. What a mistake. A loud fan that ran too frequently, at too high a speed, and for too long. And it's a loud fan. That dock intermittently loses its Ethernet connection, too. And the laptop displays an erroneous error message about the dock whenever the laptop boots. The CalDigit does none of these things. It powers the laptop and just works. Silently. Brilliantly. Never getting to hot. I've had no problems with 2 HD monitors, connected via DisplayPort.
