Awful/tasteless; no, i take that back; it tastes of green tea. So it's green tea flavoured powder. But it's not Kombucha! i'm a Kombucha drinker for years; tried so many different (bottled) brands. And now i brew my own: i know about Kombucha; Kombucha this ain't; it's got no digestive health benefits; waste of money; if you want green tea flavoured drink, buy some green tea and mix it with water; it'd be a lot more economical than buying this so called Kombucha powder

This is my second purchase of the product. This is much more economical than getting kombucha in a bottle. And I like that it lasts longer than fresh kombucha. The taste is quite pleasant and it is a nice refreshing drink after a meal. It is not sweet though, which is good if youβre on a diet or serving it to children and the elderly. I usually add a bit of honey to itβ¦ I think it will be good with stevia as well. I would highly recommend it if you donβt have time to brew your own kombucha or if fresh kombucha is expensive in your area. Little lumps can form though when you are mixing the drink, so I recommend mixing and adding water gradually. But even if you mix it with a spoon all at once, the lumps arenβt really such a huge issue.

I'm disappointed at the lack of flavor in this powder mix. I've always had bottled Kombucha in the past and have enjoyed it. I tried this because it doesn't need to be refrigerated. The first time I made it with a level scoop. The next time I used a heaping scoop plus added some fresh lemon juice. It still lacked flavor. Maybe adding freshly ground ginger root would help. I'm glad that it was on sale when I purchased it.

This is powerful stuff! I feel a cleansing effect and increased metabolism when I take this product. It helps with constipation and bloating. I actually enjoy the taste and I find the price very reasonable. I like to prepare mine in warm water as this makes it dissolve better. I started taking it every day, then I switched to every other day. Kombucha seems to have the effect of lowering blood sugar which is not good for me as I struggle with blood sugar crashes. Due to this reason I only take this when I need a cleanse. I also got some packets at a discount when they were running a deal. That was very good value!
Well, California Gold Nutrition could've make it better for this price and to keep up with their reputation. It's a quality product, but not readily consumable. It is tasteless on its own, nothing close in taste to the bottled kombucha. I add a teaspoon or two of apple cider vinegar, half a teaspoon of honey, and half a tablet of dissolvable vitamin c for a tasty and lightly fizzy drink. I will keep consuming this product because I trust in quality and health benefits of this kombucha with probiotics. Then I will go back to my favourite probiotics (21st Century, Acidophilus Probiotic Blend) which I regularly purchase here.
Great healthy beverage mix. Having tried the lemon & ginger one as well, this unflavoured one is definitely my choice as you can mix it in with your beverages. Smells very sour. It dissolves well in room temperature water. It includes a scoop for the perfect serving size. I like to dissolve 1 scoop to 700ml of sugarless homemade cold brew tea with juice of one lime.
This is an excellent alternative to regular kombucha. I like kombucha, but I don't feel like fermenting it on my own, and bottled kombucha is quite expensive. This is a great compromise between the price and quality. It doesn't have the same robust flavour as bottled kombucha, and there's no fizz, but if you like milder kombucha, this is the product for you. One serving is relatively cheaper compared to a bottle of kombucha, and you can prepare it whenever you like. I've just had my first cup of this drink, so I am yet to see any health benefits.
Ordered three packs at a special price. Doesn't contain ginger and lemon I bought kombucha and was enjoying it. New challenge,a product containing ginger and lemon. I declare this product because it dissolves well in cold water, it doesn't have a strong scent, the price is on sale,but I don't know the health benefits yet. It has a lemon flavor rather than a ginger taste, can feel a slight sour taste. Drinking mix with grain powder was much smoother. However, let's try something rich in dietary fiber that is bound to be good and is easy to make and eat. Let's try this product diligently. Highly recommend π π.
I should have known better than to think there was really such a thing as Instant Kombucha. This mix is terrible, very poor quality -- has no kombucha (or even ginger, lemon) taste or fizz; tastes just like old diluted apple cider vinegar. I thought it would be handy to have on hand for stock emergency supply. Better off just using stock supply of my gallons of apple cider vinegar. (Taste, quality, ingredients, did I hit them all? Trust me, this was a waste of money; returning it asap.)
