I love this call of duty zombie mode and I can't wait for black ops three to come out especially if they're going off of the success of this one

ts a decent game. the last time I played a Call of Duty game was the First Black Ops, so I dont really pay attention to COD at all these days.It felt like they put effort in this game to be honest. Had pretty good production values. The main story was not very interesting to pay attention to, but the world and sequences were interesting. What was getting annoying was having to have space dog fight battles several times over and over again. The first 3 times was fine, but after that it was a shore and the same as the last 7 times.I played the multiplayer for about one day. It was just like any COD you seen in the last 11 years. The hate it got pre-launch. It's not Infinity Wards fault Black Ops 3 killed people's enjoyment of Call of Duty and demanded a 'boots on the ground' experience. They've made an incredibly satisfying game. Sure the announcement trailer wasn't good, but the reaction to it can literally be summed up by 12 year old kids acting like it's cool to jump on this 'dislike the new COD trailer' bandwagon, some going so far as to create entirely new YouTube channels just to dislike the video. As for Modern Warfare Remastered, honestly I couldn't understand why people were going so nuts over it. As far as I knew everybody loved MW2 the best. Heck it was even the game people were petitioning for a remaster. Raven Software dod a great job on this and it's WAY more than a generic HD ... MoreThe hate it got pre-launch. Heck it was even the game people were petitioning for a remaster. Raven Software dod a great job on this and it's WAY more than a generic HD coat of paint. There's sweet trophies, and graaphics overhaul, some extra bits at the start of the campaign, and multiplayer has gas a significant upgrade, with added customization options and tweaks. Unfortunately I never thought much of the original PS3 and still don't think much of it now. Don't get me wrong, I platinumed the single player but multiplayer is still the game slow-paced (and no not because it's boots on the ground, it's because it wasn't until MW2 that they got their seift movement and sharp aiming down right) with TERRIBLE spawns and moments of pure BS frustration they refused to fix from the original. Also NZ online play right now is incredibly laggy even for those with a great connection. It's also inhabited with endless ammounts of camping snipers, camping noobtubers, spawn campers and just all around terrible players.....just like the good old days!

Campaign Is Great, MP is lackluster

I didn't buy this game upon release due to taking a stance against Activision. I really didn't like the fact that COD was again another futuristic shooter but I'll leave that alone. I bought this on sale when it was $32.99. Let it sit for a while then when I got tired of BF1. The campaign is probably the best out of any COD I've played but many skip the campaign. The Multiplayer just misses it totally. Killstreaks are really bad. The gun balance is horrible to variants being in this game. Gun perks cause some guns to be signifcantly better than others. Also, with some guns only being available through supply drops (RNG) make it really frustrating to get the gun you want. If COD continues down this path it's just a matter of time before it loses it's grip of ... MoreI didn't buy this game upon release due to taking a stance against Activision. I don't play zombies but I've heard that this game's version is good as well.

I read some poor reviews on this game that made me hesitant to buy it. You need to try it for your self. The campaign is breathtakingly awesome, they take you across the solar system, one level lets you battle a drone army only an asteroid close to the sun, where you need to stay in the shade because it's 900 degrees in the sun. You get to fly a spacecraft into battle, in atmosphere and orbit. The graphics on the different planet surfaces are breathtaking and immersive. The futuristic weapons are totally believable and realistic, they feel like weapons that can actually exist in the future, anti gave and shock grenades and energy pulse weapons. The story is filled with themes of duty and sacrifice. This is a masterpiece of a game. I'm not much for multiplayer but ... MoreI read some poor reviews on this game that made me hesitant to buy it. It felt like more of the same which isn't necessarily a bad thing from a franchise that puts out content on this level. If your are a fan of FPS action, GET THIS GAME!!!

Ok....the game is good. Really good but... It has a feeling of cheapness in that it practically takes mass effect and ace combat and copies them almost exactly even having a map of the universe with the planet's and an agency called serberes. The graphics are brilliant, the gameplay simple but mesmerising and when you play it on a projector with Dolby 5.1 you really do feel present in space and the views are fab. Story wise again it's very mass effect but this doesn't make it bad by any stretch I just feel they could of better pursued originality. It's a good sized game and has a decent single player better than what they've done in years. I enjoyed multiplayer. It's basic death match simple map type stuff but sometimes that's just what we need. It's worth a second ... MoreOk....the game is good. Really good but... It's not big enough to justify the new asking price but 15 pounds for a long weekend is fair. I'd say get it but don't expect the originality or depth of say "Wolfenstein The New Order"

Multiplayer feels infinitely the same. Now the campaign is amazing, and I love the modern warfare remaster I can't save how much I loved those. But let me ask you something? How many people do you know buy call of duty of the campaign? How many people do you know finish the campaign? I know some do but lets face is this game is all about the multiplayer. That is where it truly lacks. I know I gave Battlefield 1 game of the year, narrowly beating out Dark Souls III but not by much. But that has nothing to do with this average review, I try to be as fair as possible. My friends love Call of Duty on their impression are largely the same was mine - it doesn't do anything different enough and feels the same. Same Old Game ... Same Old Cheats ... Nothing really original

I bought the combo set not for the super space age crap because when the game went to jet packs and wall running Bull Donkey I stopped playing it. I bought it for the remastered Modern Warfare and was totally disappointed in the three small spawn trap maps and the fact all the cheats and hacks used by losers who can't play fair were still in effect and working in the new remastered version. You would think with all the technology today these designers could put a protocol in place that would shut these cheating losers off with the first ping or would at least police it enough to make it veryi unprofitable for the cheaters to play. I really hope this is the last game they put out because I am DONE WITH ACTIVISION and Modern Warfare. They haven't been original in a decade and only become more and more bizzare with each new game. You would think with the way sales drop they would go back to what worked instead of trying to hide the most popular cheats as a perk, like Quick Scope, NO RIFLE DOES THIS and a scope often makes it harder to find and track a target ... and by the way designers scopes don't waiver as much as your game does and the second one is fired the dark room someone is hiding in the room lights up... if you are going to produce a game try to get it right ...

Under rated COD

The case and disc came in incredible condition that basically looked brand new. This game got a lot of backlash for being boots off ground, but the story was one of the best stories in a Call Of Duty game. Being able to customize your loadout before any campaign mission and also to customize your ship is pretty awesome. Being able to do mini side missions as well in the campaign makes it even more better. If you like playing single player first person shooters then you should definitely give this a shot.
