Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 encompasses a wide range of elements. When attempting to achieve this, some aspects fare well while others suffer, exemplifying the inherent challenges. The annual release schedule doesn't contribute to refining the overall experience; instead, it tends to leave certain aspects inadequately developed. While it doesn't necessarily smoothen the rough edges, it inadvertently results in certain elements being hastily implemented. My unsolicited suggestion to Activision would be to either maintain a continuous game model, similar to Fortnite, or adopt a less frequent release schedule with a couple of years between each installment.

The amount of bad press and bad reviews this game has received is completely uncanny, really is irrational when the game has kept the same recipe that millions have known and loved. Never in history has a COD game been so heavily scrutinized on its campaign quality and length but yet this one was despite many other COD games having campaigns that were practically the same length. Its safe to say most people purchase the game for the multiplayer and its where they will spend most of their time in. The multiplayer is the core of the game it is the best the franchise has to offer and one of the best experiences in gaming. If youve played last years MW2 then this is a better faster version of it, simple as that. The gameplay is faster, guns feel tighter, time to kill a tad longer requiring more skill and less focus on who saw who first, so in essence I truly believe its better balanced than last years game. Going back to improved remastered version of the COD mw2 from 2009 was a spectacular movesnd cery welcoming to those whove been around for a while. Muscle memory kicks in and its rather easy to enjoy the old remastered maps, along with newer maps that will be released as the seasons progress. Dont miss out on this experience based on peoples mob mentality perspective, just enjoy the game if you’d like to wait and save money great but dont miss out on the experience because of people who never even touched the game but came out to give it bad reviews because thats what a reviewsite, youtube, reddit told them to do.

Another Call of Duty, what more is there to say, it follows on from MW2 which should have been DLC, the single player campaign takes 3 hours to complete on medium difficulty, bit longer on the harder settings. The saving grace for the game is the Zombies mode but it is buggy as expected with all new games. The money making bit is that Zombies is basically DMZ and that was free, so they are using that game mode to sell the game.As for very.co.uk, I preordered the game in August 23 and a day before release they dropped the price by ÂŁ10. It was only because friends bought the game elsewhere for a lot cheaper that I checked and saw it had dropped in price. I then had to phone them to request the refund.
I’ve been a COD fan since day 1. I’ve spent a lot of time on almost every game that has been released to date. I will say that it’s been very disappointing that the franchise is essentially copying and pasting the most recent releases to the next gen consoles with out any substantial changes. Regarding this game… let me start by saying there isn’t a thing about this game that feels like it’s next gen. The graphics are good but not great, the sound effects are average and the campaign doesn’t flow well. With that said, the campaign is very short but i did have fun going through it.The main reason I purchased this game rather than skipping this cash grab was the fact that they brought back my favorite multiplayer maps. I admit, I’m loving playing these old maps again but also disappointed that there doesn’t seem to have been much thought or effort in polishing this let alone assuming some sort of creativity or changes to make it different. This will most likely be the last COD game I purchase unless the franchise comes out with something new.
Most disappointing COD I’ve played in my life and I’ve played every single COD since original mw2. I’m already sick of it after 10ish days of playing. Here’s my biggest issues (I’ll mention positives at the end):1. Skill based matchmaking in quick play just makes it so much less fun. I find myself leaving so many games now from rage quitting because I’m playing the sweatiest guys when I’m just tryna go have some fun (would love to see statistics of how much more often people rage quit now than old CODs). It actually makes the game depressing and I get very little joy from playing it. Ranked play should be for skill based matchmaking, leave quick play out of it. I miss the Bo2 days when I’d see split screeners in my lobby. I miss being able to drop high kill ... MoreMost disappointing COD I’ve played in my life and I’ve played every single COD since original mw2. I’m already sick of it after 10ish days of playing. It actually makes the game depressing and I get very little joy from playing it. Ranked play should be for skill based matchmaking, leave quick play out of it. I miss the Bo2 days when I’d see split screeners in my lobby. I miss being able to drop high kill streaks. Now I find it way too challenging to even get an 8 kill streak Overwatch helo. And the opposing narrative to this is that I just have to “get better”. If I get better, I’m gonna get matched up against even better players. MW3’s goal is to keep me at a 1.00 K/D ratio. I used to have a 2.2 KD on cod ww2 and I’d play that game for hours on end but on mw3 I find myself wanting to quit playing every 30-60 minutes.2. LACK OF GAME MODES! Three of my favourites in recent years are Headquarters, Cyber Attack (great for 6-mans since you can revive), and demolition. None of these modes are in MW3, they really only offer 7 different game mode variations in quick play which is such a huge step back from the cod I’ve always known and loved. What reason is there, if any, to remove these fun objective based gamemodes??? PLEASE!!!! ADD THESE THREE GAME MODES!!!!! I’m sick of hardpoint and domination.3. Price. It’s just not worth it for what I paid. Old CODs used to feel like a completely new game, completely new style and unique features. Remember that incredible feeling of booting up the brand new COD the day it came out? You WILL NOT get that feeling with MW3. I would get addicted for months on old cods. The only unique feature of new MW3 is the daily challenges and zombies. The entire game feels the exact same as the previous two MW’s apart from new maps that are all literal copies of original mw2. Not to mention the battle pass is expensive, and they even try to sell “Black Cell” for $40 CAD extra on top of the battle pass. That is just absurd. Honestly I’m getting sick of this game already and I’ve only had it for like 10 days.Positives:- maps are cool and nostalgic- graphics are great- I like how they made zombies new and unique, it’s actually pretty fun. I do wish they found a way to include more of old zombies in it though as I don’t like how every game ends after an hour.
Graphics are great but that’s about it. This should have been a downloadable expansion to last year’s Modern Warfare II. The campaign is poor compared to previous years; I do not enjoy the open world missions. I also preferred the previous round based Zombies compared to this year’s open world map. Hoping for a return to the typical Call of Duty blueprint next year; crossing my fingers for a 90s based Gulf War/Desert Storm game.
Well, after holding out on buying this game I eventually caved and purchased. Used mybestbuy rewards for a $55 gift certificate then bought game digital. After playing for a few days this game is horrendous. Since playing call of duty since WaW days, I am never again going to buy call of duty. To many ads/push to buy battlepass. (After every game)Then after trying to return the digital come to find out there is no way to get money or rewards back. :,( wish best buy would help me with this since I have been loyal buying electronics with them my whole life. From gaming good, tvs, music, phone, car audio, and securtiy systems for home.
This is by far one of the most amazing multiplayer online games in the Call of Duty series. If you buy this game you will be very very happy and you will not have a dull moment. Your life will get incredibly better and the quality of everything around you will improve. If you have a significant other they may get upset because of the amount of time that you spend on this game. You won't get better looking you won't get smarter you won't get in better shape but you will definitely have the time of your life playing this amazing adventure. If you don't have Xbox Live you need it
