I really believe that people is being a little bit harsh with their reviews. This is an excellent game just because it's as great than the other COD titles. The new online cooperative Special Ops mode is incredible and challenging, there are new perks, killstreaks and deathstreaks for the multiplayer modes that makes the gaming experience even more fun.Again I don't know why people is being harsh with MW3, maybe they expected a soldier with superpowers or something like that. If they are giving this 2-3 stars reviews on MW3 because of Battlefild's tanks, jets and vehicles i only can say that i truly believe it is'nt the big deal, just makes it harder and less fun.

We enjoy the other later CoD games for their bots in offline and lan play. We have satellite and can't play online. We decided to purchase this as yet another set of maps with bots only to find that it's multiplayer doesn't have them. But it has something equally as good for offline splitscreen and lan play. It has bots in waves and the feel is almost like the oldtime side scrollers, you play the match as far as you can and then have to start over. It's very worth it given the price of this game now. Very entertaining for the large percentage of rural people still lacking decent internet.

The multiplayer's actually pretty solid, way better than before. Zombies has some annoying stuff, like your weapon levels resetting when you exfil, but overall, it's fun. If you're into multiplayer and need a zombie fix, it's worth checking out. Heads up: unlocking system - terrible. They should just stick to leveling up weapons like they did in MW2; that was way better than this mess.

Main Menu gives you three options. Campaign which we've all played, Multiplayer and Special Ops.Not a whole lot to add to what everyone else has said about it. It definitely feels "plotted out for you". You get into some of the later missions and their is not a real flow to it. You've shot for awhile, now it's time to be a sniper or use the AC130 or Helicopter. Overall I give the Campaign a 3.Multiplayer the guys are professionals. Play at your own risk.Spec Ops is where this game hits a triple. Either on line or splitscreen. You can run Solo also. You have three choices within Spec Ops to play. They are Survival, Missions and Chaos. Haven't tried Chaos yet. Played a few missions and they seem pretty boring. Survival is pretty awesome. They are Survival, Missions and Chaos. Haven't tried Chaos yet. Played a few missions and they seem pretty boring. Survival is pretty awesome. Either alone or with a splitscreen or online friend you have to survive wave after wave of attack and each wave gets more difficult. You fight local insurgents, troops, helos, bomb carrying insurgents and dogs, and the dreaded juggernaut(s). On easy it's mission 6 before you get to battle a pair of helos and just helos. Its wave 10 before you encounter a juggernaut. On 15 its 2, and 20 its 3 juggernauts. On the insane level its wave 3 and you're battling everything at once. The Maps: Most are some sort of cityscape. However, some are harder to defend than others and it wasn't truly applied to the level of difficulty. For example one insane scape is perfect for evading and defending. One less difficult level has an incredibly d.

As anyone who plays these COD games knows, Black Ops 2 is having major issues...freezing PS 3, breaking many of them, and major lag and connections issues. It will take a number of months to fix these. If you don't believe me, check out the Activision blogs and other COD blogs. It seems some people have no issues, but many do.My personal experience is I bought BO2, and after playing a few games it froze my PS 3 -had to do a hard start. That happened about twenty times, till I read if that happens too much your PS 3 will break. So, I am back to this game...and BO 1. Loving them, this game has better maps in the DLC content than original, but as far as gaming very similar to MW 2 and I will take a game that WORKS any day. This is really 3.5 stars, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.I don't play the online multiplayer mode, so if you're like me and want the game to stand on its own, it does deliver in some respects.I initially played the campaign and some of the survival maps but that really didn't do anything for me. It's a decent game, but MW2 it's definitely not. The Spec Ops in MW2 were awesome and I was hoping that they'd recaptured that same type of gameplay in MW3.Turns out the global missions are similar. They're definitely not as creative or fun as the Spec Ops from MW2, but they are fun nonetheless. I've recently gone back and played some of the Spec Ops from MW2 to give myself a refresher and then tried MW3 again. While MW2 really stands out as a much better game, I did have fun playing MW3 and I'm continuing to play the global missions to complete all on veteran. So, while the campaign wasn't great and the survivor missions are somewhat fun, the global missions are really the only thing that makes the game worth buying... and if you can get it for a good price and are missing the action that MW2 had to offer, MW3 is worth a play.Oh, I also went back and tried Black Ops again... buying that game has to be the worst decision I ever made. There's nothing fun in the single player about that game and I couldn't even finish the campaign it was so bad.

Singleplayer: I found it stunning from the graphics to the actually story line. MW3 never gave you a break from gunfire, our heart strings. Luckily I saved my air strike for just this occasion. In closing I found the game to be one of the most enjoyable I have played this year. I am quite sad however that it did seem like the closed the door at the end to any other possibilities of a sequel. But they did so with diginity and honor.Have fun, and keep gaming.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is an epic first person shooter which redefines the way in which combat action style shooters are undertaken. You battle through various missions around the globe and use a very extensive range of weaponry during firefights. The survival mode is also a new addition and allows various players to compete against wave after wave of enemies. Or the player may decide he wants to engage in firefights in a solo type environment, which makes for a harder, more engaging combat. As you engage in mission after mission in this new survival mode, you will be presented with much harder levels as the levels progress.Where Modern Warfare 3 really shines is in the online multiplayer, where you can compete against human players which makes this shooter probably one of the most realistic type of shooting simulators ever to be constructed for any console. There are sixteen maps located in the multiplayer offering an excellent breeding ground for multiplayer combat. You also have several modes of play from street firefights, controlling particular towns from invasion, stealth infiltrations, rooftop firefights, multiplayer as well as various survival modes, battle modes, online modes. Quite an array to keep the overall entertainment flowing. Modern Warfare 3 has continued to improve on the previous titles offering better choice of weapons and upgrades, while keeping various elements from the previous titles, including Territorial Control, Bomb Planting, Snipers, Mass Killing to name but a few. In terms of graphics and overall performance this game is a continuation of this improvement and refinement.I have spent hours and hours on this game and loved every second of it and everyone I know that has played this game also enjoyed it!If you like an all action packed shooter which incredible detail, refined controls and great sound quality, then this title is worthy of a look, as it really adds to the realistic feel of what it would be like to gear up and take the leadership role in the middle of a war zone.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 delivers an intense single-player campaign that picks up immediately following the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and escalates into World War 3. "Kill Confirmed" requires players to collect floating dog tags from the corpse of a downed enemy before the kill can be registered. However, the opposing team can pick up the dog tag as well to deny the other team of a kill. "Team Defender" requires both teams to try to capture a flag dropped by the first person who gets killed when the match starts, and hold it to gain double points per kill while the team without the flag only gets the default amount per kill. "Drop Zone" (where the player must hold a drop zone for points and care packages) "Team Juggernaut" (each team plays alongside an AI Juggernaut character), "Gun Game" (be the first to get one kill with every gun in the game) "One in the Chamber" (in which players are only allowed one pistol with one bullet and three lives where they can only get more bullets by killing other players). Along with this, players are allowed to create their own game modes with customized settings such as number of players and time limit.
